I stated other stuff above, but I'll repeat here. At the age the child appears to be, it is extremely common for them to mimic a parental figure, be it a parent or older sibling or elder figure that they look up to. I think it's far more likely that the child is mimicking the parent rather than inherited behavior. Notice "far more likely," rather than "100% chance." I'm not ignoring that fact, I'm simply stating my opinion that it is much more likely that one of the two options I stated before occurred rather than genetic behavior. At the age that the child appears in the photo, it is very common for children to mimic parental figures, be it parents or older siblings, so I think it's more likely the child copied her parent then fell asleep rather than sleeping in that position.
