It's completely acceptable to go alone into a bar to look for company. You don't have to hide it. In fact, you'll do better if you're open about it.

Best might be if there was a good compact video about the subject that you could ask people to watch and tell you what their opinion about it is. The video would explain where the tradition came from, what are the risks and if any of the alleged benefits are real. You would just be asking for an opinion about a video instead of appearing as trying to convince people of something they don't want to hear or believe.

Avoid arguing with anyone. The only way to gain anything from an argument is to lose and change your view because you learned something. It doesn't matter if you change someone's mind or not. If you force your view on someone by any means necessary, do you expect to get laid, to live together happily ever after or be respected? In a debate you can't seriously expect the opponent to go "yeah i think you're right, you won, i was wrong" and there is applause and you walk home as the winner. Or even…

It's handy, the priest can lick off the rest of the blood if he misses some while sucking it out of the little guys peepee. Which is even more sick than deciding to manufacture this device.

Didn't anyone in charge at HBO watch a pilot or something before airing or greenlighting financing of a full season? How many people in the delivery chain thought it would be a success?

Grabbing, holding, etc is better and more effective than hitting.

Sounds like typical eye for an eye BS. Revenge is not a good life goal. None of the societies where this is the norm is not doing too well.

The first five years of that probationary term will be supervised, during which time You will be required to comply with a number of conditions, including that she complete community service and continue to undergo mental health treatment by a licensed provider. It's not the same as letting her go free. Five years is a long time to live like that. Not quite like sitting in a box for five years, but not free either.

And kids shouldn't live with someone who fosters such hatred. Revenge, desire to punish, wanting bad things to others - you don't even know these people.

I agree. Many responses here seem to be the exact same thing that is being criticized. I don't mean to say that OP is some kind of abusive dick or a failure in any other way either, but "dodged the bullet, I hope he's not gonna take the radical feminist bitch back" type of talk is the exact same shit the "other side" is accused of.

To me, being in the top X% would only make it less appealing and if I was paying for that sort of crap, I would rather go for the bottom 0.5%. Rare!

Definining men's rights activism as a movement that tries to take away women's rights doesn't sound fair. The attempt to point that out via role reversal wasn't a success. "Yes" was the answer I was looking for, but I doubt the author of the original article would've said that out loud. Edit: Well yes, I realize that taking away unnecessary / unfair special rights from one group could sometimes be a better solution than giving the unnecessary / unfair right to the other side also if equal rights…

Although it might sound odd that women like Olivia and Rachel would join the fray of men's rights activists, a group that continuously rails against the rights of women Does feminism continuously rail against the rights of men?

Good for her she's not a he. Fun fact, her last name is without doubt a Finnish one, but her first name is a boy's name in Finland. Had to google some pics of her to make sure it wasn't a misunderstanding by the reporter.

Some studies have shown that pregnancy is more probable through rape as there might be involuntary ovulation or something of the sorts, but it has been disputed. Another angle to that could be that some women had to come up with an explanation of how they ended up pregnant.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pregnancy_from_rape A 1996 study of 34 cases of rape-related pregnancy estimated that in the United States, the pregnancy rate is 5.0% per rape among victims of reproductive age (aged 12 to 45). A 1987 study also found a 5% pregnancy rate from rape among 18- to 24-year-old college students in the US. A 2005 study placed the rape-related pregnancy rate at around 3–5%.
