So you want to have a “ho phase” with younger women. As long as all parties are legal and consenting - you do you. However I encourage you to remember the Dan Savage campsite rule for relationships: leave people better than you found them. You do have an obligation to wear your big boy panties and communicate well, early, and often. Don’t lead girls on for sex, be crystal clear about your intentions and boundaries — and overall just be a good human.

My fault- to a point. I ignored a bunch of incompatibility red flags early in our relationship. Then found it to be a problem when he still had most of those red flags 20 years later. 🤪 There are things both of us could have done differently and better of course. But - we had a lot of fun and got one great kiddo out of the mix, and are reasonably good friends and excellent co-parents now. He’s with a long term partner who we really like. Although to be honest I think she is incompatible with him…

Fwiw whenever my ex or I travel with our son internationally we carry a notarised document stating that the other is permitted to do so. While we generally provide a general itinerary, nobody would freak out if it varied a bit. We have enough trust and good will that it is fine.
