I'll never be convinced that the need for sex equates to the need for food but I don't hate men for being horny. I don't know how they would just turn it off or whatever. The part I dislike is the thinking that men have some right to have that satisfied, regardless of if the woman wants it or not. The main issue to 99% of things mentioned in this sub is that men and women have totally different sex drives. I don't know what solution there is to that? I asked once, someone replied prostitution. I…

Yeah that's what confused me about this point. I totally understand how tough it is for men compared to women as I have a lot of male friends who are struggling and talk to me in detail about their attempts etc. But I've never heard of a woman laughing in a man's face just for asking them out. That sounds like something out of a movie. It probably happens but I will never believe it is common.

Yeah, I totally get your frustration with the anecdotes leading women to argue their sex drives are just as high. Men having a higher sex drive than women is a fact, no doubt about it. There are outliers, as always, but it doesn't change the average. Basically for all the reasons you said in your OP - the things men will do for sex compared to women essentially prove this fact.

Yeah I totally agree with everything you said. I don't think there's solution and given what you've said, the fact there's no easy solution will affect men more than women. Women have no reason to care about this "issue" due to the lower sex drive

First one is fine because it's the only one without interaction. I don't use Twitter so I'm not sure if liking something gets added to a favourites sort of tab and if it did then eh I might be okay with that because there would be an actual function for liking it. But yeah anything like Only Fans or anything with engagement is not okay in a relationship with me. I don't like porn but I'm not going to ban it. I think that just leads to it being hidden rather than eliminated. I don't really believ…

Lmao if you can conclude from one comment, that was neutral anyway, that I hate men or whatever you're clearly looking to twist any comment from women to fit your narrative. I'm glad you recognise most women aren't hateful though. Normally in these threads men think all women go round belittling men which is simply not true. To the contrary, I've never heard any of my friends speak negatively about men, even during break ups. That includes myself. I don't know what I said in my comment that is "…

Yes exactly. Whilst basing self worth off sex may be a weakness for men, we definitely have weaknesses when it comes to what we base our self worth off. Neither are better or worse.

I mean, she was saying that she thinks men of a certain life stage think of themselves that way. Not that she views them that way. If someone said "I think women of a certain life stage see themselves as cum dumpsters" I wouldn't take that as the poster calling women cum dumpsters

I think the part that clashes with myself is the paying $500-600 an hour for sex or flying abroad for it. If a guy is so desperate to pay that sort of money then they probably aren't a good match for me. In fairness, I also don't date guys into casual sex either because "I'm so horny I'd sleep with a randomer from Tinder" is not something I've ever been able to understand. Sex is a bit more than that for me so I've tried to find a guy who is on the same page with standards and wants some actual …

The same thing as a high n count woman is a high n count man. The same thing has a man who has paid for sex is a woman who has paid for sex. They don't crossover in similarity

I'm 29 and understand as I get older this becomes more and more limiting if I said no. Ideally I wouldn't want a relationship with a single father, no. But like I said I think I'd have to consider it at some stage. In the past if single dad's messaged me online when I was single I actually told them the truth and they were always appreciative of the bluntness. It saves a lot of time for everyone really.

What? All the men I know meet up for beers to catch up. Not through work or anything like that...just meeting with their friends because it's a perfectly normal thing to do regardless of gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/22 08:00 AM

Male sexuality in general and how morals/standards go out of the window quite often because they find it hard to not think with their dick apparently.

This has happened to me a lot but I'm finding it hard to describe exactly what the guy did. It's usually just having good "banter" and chemistry with them which starts to change how I physically perceive them. I don't necessarily think chemistry can be forced or trained. You either have it with someone or you don't; and you both know if you have it. It's like an unspoken vibe.

Absolutely, I totally agree. It bothered me not because of the principle but the fact it showed we had a different mindset about sex and its role etc. I just saw it as a point of incompatiblity because I would just absolutely not have casual sex. It's just not how I roll. Fair enough if guys want to, I'd just prefer someone on the same page.

I dunno if it's fair to say that online dating apps just don't work. I don't know a single person my age (29) who didn't get their relationship from an app and we are all in long term relationships.

No but you couldn't imagine who is dating single mothers in their 40s. As if single dad's in their 40s would be looking for someone else.

Riiiight. And why is that? Women in the West are given too much independence in your view? I'm just trying to think of the main differences East/West and not all Eastern countries limit women but it we are talking like Middle East...

Hmm. Tricky one. Thin line between confidence and arrogance. Some of your comments I've read are really on the border and at the end of the day no-one likes arrogance which is probably why you received negative replies. My experience is that men really like well played confidence but if it goes too far and you end up acting like you're better than them or that you could leave at any time for someone else then of course it's off-putting. Everyone has negatives and recognising them sometimes is no…

Orrrrr single dad's in the 40s who want to date a woman their own age. You assume all men are looking for a 21 year old which is simply not the case. Plenty of men who want a woman the same age, it's very hard to actually be on the same wavelength as someone 20 years younger.

Why did you specify Western women? I'm just curious. Do you have a specific dislike of western women?

Yeah I agree with you. It's one of my only strengths so fuck it if I'm going to hide it just because other people feel insecure.

No. My partner cries quite a lot (compared to my exes). He's a very emotional and sensitive guy. I just give him a hug and bring the cat over. I'm not great with dealing with other people being emotional so I'm not great with consoling him - I just silently be there I guess. But I feel great compared to how your gfs dealt with it!

That's interesting. Did she have any unwanted side effects? Like body hair or anything? I don't know what T does to women.

You're not allowed to use anecdotes if we can't. How can you speak for what is representative of the larger population either? Everyone's opinion is based on anecdotes or forums, which is inherently flawed because of course all people on an incel forum have negative experiences of women. Or now and again someone will post a shitty article as if it proves anything. There was one on here the other day that had a sample size of 300 or something and apparently whatever it concluded (I can't remember…

Nah, I absolutely have the ability to counter it, I'm just really tired of debating with people who think sex is equal to shelter because if I've learnt anything it's that it's impossible to change their mind.

For the record I don't think most of the intactivist movement are mad at people like yourselves. If it's medically necessary then it's unavoidable.

It doesn't take a day of not washing to get dick cheese jfc. This is the problem with the circumcision "debate" - it's based off total misinformation. Edit - I mean you're in the shower anyway right? It's just another body part to wash that takes literally seconds. You're washing that region anyway (r-right?) so why is the effort of washing even a valid argument?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/22 06:54 PM

This whole thing is SO weird to me as a woman who isn't American. Circumcisions are only done here for medical reasons. There's some extreme misinformation with the amount they talk about STIs, UTIs and "dick cheese" on the posts from Twitter.

The person who looks most pathetic in this thread is OP for getting so emotionally invested in the fact that fat women still have sex and he doesn't. Most normal people would just not pursue fat women and move on but this is actually taking up mental space in his tiny brain.

Since when was it ever about protection? I am attracted to tall men and it's never been anything to do with protection. I just find them attractive in the same way that I find blue eyes attractive. But it's a preference, that's all. My fiancé is not very tall and obviously I'm super attracted to him.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/22 02:35 AM

Yeah, it provides temporary relief so it does the job. Satisfying that desire is a want, not a need. It doesn't matter where you're doing it. The biological impetus is due to procreation, not sex for the sake of sex; and obviously the large majority of sex is not done for the sake of procreation anymore. Recreational sex is not a need.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/22 02:08 AM

If anything I think religions would say sex is a need. I mean I can mostly talk about Christianity but their emphasis on procreation in turn sort of suggests that marital sex is a need but only if the goal is to impregnate. Isn't it Catholicism that has a line of thought suggesting every ejaculation is precious thus why masturbation is frowned upon as it is a waste of possible life? It's a bit of a mindfuck trying to answer this question from a religious viewpoint. They don't make it easy with t…

I don't really see what you're getting at here. If male contraception existed then surely you would take it too? Unwanted pregnancy is good for no-one and isn't related to whether or not sex is a need. Even if sex is a desire and not a need, ensuring effective contraception is used is important for both parties.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/21 09:04 PM

I roughly agree. I don't define sex as a need but probably would say ejaculation is. So the "making babies" bit doesn't need to be with another person seeing as what the other person said is correct; ejaculation is the bit related to this, it doesn't matter where it is done, just that the basic need to ejaculate is addressed.

I dunno if saying it is true for most women is accurate but it definitely isn't unusual. It hurts me a lot to have sex with someone I'm not attracted to.

Yeah... I dunno how long you've been on this sub but you won't really get any sympathy from most about the rape. Worse; some will probably make some triggering comments. You will, however, get sympathy from me. I'm sorry that happened to you, it must be really hard to deal with and build relationships again. I mean, not all feminists are pro sex work. Sure, probably most think it is empowering etc etc but the other side (still feminist) thinks it is demeaning and encourages the image of women as sex objects. Not saying I know what is right, just saying being anti sex work doesn't necessarily clash with being a feminist.

You keep talking about society preventing sex, you mentioned it above too. So society is preventing sex, how? By preventing consent? What would you propose to do about it? Btw what has circumcision got to do with anything?

Jesus Christ why are people linking this article that has a low sample size and then saying that "a third of women are scumbags" as if it's fact. No-one is saying it never happens. I'm sure there are women who do it. In my large circle I don't know any, and if a third of women are absolutely doing this then statistically I should know of one. But you aren't owed sex even by the few women who do this.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/21 02:27 AM

You're concluding that 1 in 3 women is a scumbag from a sample size of....323 women. Wow. Even the first study of 23% of 820 women is too low.

It's amazing how much angry debate it causes with such a simple statement such as "you are not owed sex" which felt like it is objectively true. Wow.

There's no reasons on that link so thinking 50% of women are against prostitution because it would lead to them losing power in dating is just your opinion. Besides, since when did the government care whatsoever what people thought? The 50% of women in this poll are not the reason prostitution isn't legal, the only people with the power to change it are your elected officials (who are mostly men). I've lived in two countries where prostitution is legal and incels still exist. But under your logi…

I'm not against making prostitution legal but I could see it just leading to more annoyances like "why do women never have to pay to have sex but we do?!" Or "why do women get to earn money for having sex?!"

The large majority of women don't think that way. But something tells me you'd never believe me. It's like me saying I wish men stopped seeing us as sex objects and good for nothing else. The large majority of men don't think that way and the same goes for what you said about women.

The dating pool is entirely different to education. Attraction is attraction...and seriously people on here give tips to guys all the time on how to be more attractive and no-one takes it or even acts like they want it. These men believe that they are irreversibly doomed because of their height or their face or whatever and whilst it's not true, nothing seems to change their mind. It is their attitude that needs changing, not their looks.

This is what I always think on this sub. Women find it easier to get sex than men...and what? What do you want to do about it? They get so mad about something that has no solution.

I personally do not believe that men and women have the same sex drive. That is not to say that women don't get horny but I don't think the female sex drive is, on average, high enough to just fuck anyone with no standards. Whereas the guys I'm friends with will just have a one night stand with anyone who will accept when they are horny. I've just never seen that sort of behaviour the other way around. I think it's a lot easier to ignore being horny as a woman which leads to it being less impuls…

I've been subbed for like two days and you are right, it is all so pointless lol. It's just the same points over and over with many men seeming personally offended that they can't get sex but women can and they talk about it as if there needs to be some sort of rule/policy change. I just never know what solution they want?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/21 10:18 PM
11

Wait what? So now you're gatekeeping what counts as sex? Boring sex doesn't count now? That's nothing to do with being average. You can have terrible sex with attractive people. You can't just start moving the goalposts to make a point.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/21 10:15 PM

I disagree with your last statement. All my guy friends are textbook average and definitely have options. They've had casual sex, FWB, relationships with women I'd say were roughly equal in averageness. Average women probably have more options than average men but your statement makes it seem like average men do not have any options which is not true. And the reason average women have more options is because men are more sexually desperate than women, to be blunt.

Men being praised for doing the slightest thing as a father like making dinner or taking her to school like "oh he's such a good father" whilst the mother might be doing 70% and it doesn't warrant praise much at all. Just the bar for being a good dad seems really low.

I don't really know what your solution is? Your statement is true (in my anecdotal experience) and even if you don't think that's okay, I don't know what you would want to do about that? Force women to date men they are not attracted to or urge men to not date unattractive women to level the playing field?
