Hopefully not. Thank you for clearing up that you're just trolling. You'll have to do better, this won't do.

Is "the Right" that hates your wife and your friends in the same room as you right now?

A career politician is an empty billboard. A washed-out politician is a cheap empty billboard. Criticism and praise coming from obamas is meaningless.

They could be written on the same day. She's not talking about the same men, she just dislikes the attention of low-status men and craves the attention of high-status ones.

None of them are scary.

Oh. The heading goes "after neglect from husband", so it's the husband's fault. Glad that got cleared up.

Holding women accountable? What an outlandish idea, it's like stopping sun from rising in the east.

Yeah, I don't buy that. First, he stands still for a couple of seconds and then gets slapped. Second, she doesn't accept his hand immediately afterwards. So, either she wasn't trying to push his shoulder, or we're dealing with a unique human whose reaction time is measured in hours.

Fewer and fewer? Nope. It's just becoming less edgy and more universally accepted.

> Walpole, who has since been diagnosed with PTSD, stood watching and saying, "What the f*** have I done?" and, "He told me to do it." Huh. Dodging responsibility after getting drunk and setting her friend on fire? Surely, it can't be true, women don't do that..

Honestly he could've just wished her well Why? Clearly she didn't wish him well. If enough men tell her like it is instead of "just wishing her well", she's going to start either thinking about what she's doing wrong or hating all men. And any of those outcomes would be a massive improvement over the current state of affairs.

Ah, Claire is singing the "women say they're distressed, so we need to save them and pay no attention to distressed men" song. Never gets old.

If that's the goal, nobody is stopping Democrats now. US could have its first female President before Christmas.

Fires aren't that common. It can happen, it won’t happen often enough that you’ll need fire extinguishers.

Fascinating. Do you want to get plastic couch covers for female clients? Because that's how you get plastic couch covers for female clients.

You can't assign the whole meaning of your life to compassion, responsibility and care towards others. You're horribly neglecting yourself acting this way. The very first person in desperate need of your compassion, responsibility and care is you.

You have to find something within yourself, please don't outsource your will to live to your loved ones. The world we live in is unfair, cruel, absurd and absolutely wonderful. Embrace it, don't try to conform to each and every social expectation, it's impossible. I assume you're young, and that means you can, and will, get up from many, many falls. And I promise you'll enjoy it every time.

It's in the headline, in large letters - "Women say they are stressed". You can't disprove something like that with a scientific study, and you don't need to.

We all know wich side will be better for men We do. The difference is you get screeched at before the state walking all over you for four more years, or you get some pep talk before the state walking all over you for four more years.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is precisely why we're getting headlines like "Men are refusing to give lifesaving CPR to a women - because they're afraid to touch their breasts".

He wasn't. If I'm genuinely concerned about my wife's safety in her work environment, I will discuss it with her superiors. I've had a lot of subordinates, and I never saw anything wrong with any of their husbands/wives contacting me about their well-being. It happens. People can be worried about their loved ones. People can and should communicate their concerns. People's superiors at work aren't some wrathful gods you aren't supposed to question or doubt.

I admitted I was overstepping You were doing your job. You're supposed to keep your wife and children safe, and sometimes it means not agreeing with their decisions. Never give in to bullying. It won't score you any points with the bullies.

Here's the fun part - a year prior this lovely lady was sentenced to 12 months of "intense supervision" after threatening to kill several people. That redefines both "intense" and "supervision" for me.

Easy. A few people in this very thread aren't agreeing with your ideas, and you're arguing, trying to assert your position.

Neither. I'm talking about humans being social animals and exercising different forms of control over each other in every single social interaction. There's a myriad of ways to behave in a socially acceptable way, for example, and each one would exert some form of control over those around you. Thinking of yourself as of some hikikomori who has no other form of control over your social environment other than walking away is simply detrimental to your well-being.

That's them choosing to treat you a certain way because they want to be around you. Precisely. The benefit of being around someone is predicated on the treatment of that someone. And if you don't conform to the requirements, the benefit is withdrawn. Which, if you value it a lot, forces you to behave in a certain manner. Nobody can force anyone to them a certain way. You're trying to will away reality here. Or thinking that "force" only means "beat into submission". There's a ton of ways to make…

Again, that's just sophistry. You're one step away from the Boltzmann brain idea. It's more than just possible to set boundaries for other people and to make them treat you in a certain way, it's being done everywhere all the time. Even you do it, if the prospect of you leaving forces some people to treat you in a certain way.

The article is a bit funny, because it's being fuzzy and non-assertive while trying to promote a fuzzy and non-assertive way of saying "no". But yeah, the core idea is sound, simply antagonising anyone, without offering alternative solutions or sympathy, may not be the best course of action.

defending yourself Against what? Mistreatment? And how do you define mistreatment without invoking the concept of boundaries?
/r/MensRights02/09/24 08:39 PM

as if you can set boundaries for your partner, which is completely false No. You absolutely can set boundaries for your partner. At the very least in a sense that if that boundary is crossed, they stop being your partner. Boundaries are somthing you can only set for yourself And we all are just ever-changing quantum foam, unable to control anything at all. That's just a nice little piece of sophistry. This is an example of using therapy speech to control others That's what we do when we enter an…
