MensRights, please don't let my comments on Reddit dissuade you. I am a feminist, but I have a problem.I completely understand what you're saying. Women can influence certain things, especially when it comes to family law, to an completely unbalanced extent. | /r/MensRights | 11/09/12 07:18 AM
MensRights, please don't let my comments on Reddit dissuade you. I am a feminist, but I have a problem.Oh, I've told him he better make damn sure it's his before he commits to anything. From what I know of her, this may have been her plan. Even coming from me, a fairly "stereotypical" woman in terms of jealousy and possessiveness, she really seems like the type. I have to say I'm mildly disappointed with him, because he's always almost freaking religiously championed the use of condoms for this exact reason, and apparently, somehow, she got him to not a couple of times. | /r/MensRights | 11/09/12 07:15 AM
MensRights, please don't let my comments on Reddit dissuade you. I am a feminist, but I have a problem.Oh, I have had sympathy for many MR issues for a long time now. I'm perfectly willing to acknowledge that men face prejudice, particularly, as I've said, in issues facing the law and family courts. It's completely unfair, and it should be stopped. It's why I say I guess it's sort of wrong for me to say I'm a feminist, because I know that women face hardships stemming completely from their gender, and men do as well. I just, as a woman, really can't relate completely to those exact issues, but I … | /r/MensRights | 11/09/12 07:07 AM
MensRights, please don't let my comments on Reddit dissuade you. I am a feminist, but I have a problem.Well, there are issues on /r/MR that I completely agree with. I don't like the fairly numerable people that are obviously mysogynist and seem to utterly hate women (although some may also feel this way for an understandable reason), but I completely agree that in issues particularly dealing with the law and family courts, men have a difficult-to-impossible deal, and that's just putting it lightly. It's the reason that I came here for advice, dispite my mild distaste for certain MR users. If I ma… | /r/MensRights | 09/09/12 01:54 AM
MensRights, please don't let my comments on Reddit dissuade you. I am a feminist, but I have a problem. He just had a family that unquestionably believed everything he said, and they had the means to force the issue. I ultimately was able to win it out, though, when he got thrown back in the pokey for beating one of his girlfriends, and just dropped the issue because his family started doubting his word and he wouldn't have been able to go against the small but ridiculously strong support I received from friends and family without their financial help. He was never charged for my rape. He was char… | /r/MensRights | 09/09/12 12:24 AM

MensRights, please don't let my comments on Reddit dissuade you. I am a feminist, but I have a problem.I'll do a search for it. I'm just gathering inforamtion now from Google and such, and trying to find a resource for him to find an affective lawyer. He's kind of still dizzied by everything, so I wanna be able to at least get him started. | /r/MensRights | 08/09/12 12:06 PM
MensRights, please don't let my comments on Reddit dissuade you. I am a feminist, but I have a problem.I just simply identify as a feminist. I have a few issues with Reddit, and admittedly MensRights (although not with the movement as a whole, as I feel that it is a very legitimate movement, with legitimate concerns), that stem from my strong feelings as a feminist. But I do know that there are a good chunk of people on this sub that have really experienced prejudice just for being a man, and I just desperately want to find help for him. He's been my one of my best friends for ten years, and has … | /r/MensRights | 08/09/12 11:53 AM
MensRights, please don't let my comments on Reddit dissuade you. I am a feminist, but I have a problem.I'm just worried. I had to go through my rapist trying to gain custody of my daughter by accusing me of an addiction to multiple painkillers, because he found out through the grapevine (we both have numerable acquaintances that are connected to both of us) that I had a few surgeries for medical problems and was on narcotic painkillers for a couple of months. It was a difficult enough process for me, and I know in my heart that it's going to be an even bigger battle for him, considering that she … | /r/MensRights | 08/09/12 11:46 AM
MensRights, please don't let my comments on Reddit dissuade you. I am a feminist, but I have a problem. Not really. I just tend to be condenscending in most arguments and explanations, regardless of the topic. Too much confidence in myself and my ability to research and resource, I guess. :) It's a flaw I have that I've never quite been able to get rid of. | /r/MensRights | 08/09/12 11:41 AM
MensRights, please don't let my comments on Reddit dissuade you. I am a feminist, but I have a problem.I tend to be rather...condescending, I guess? I just don't want to be judged on my comments. I don't know too much about my friend's situation, because he tends to keep very much to himself, but I want to find resources for him. I've known him for 10 years, and I know he would be the best daddy for his child. I apologize if I made a mistake, though. | 1 | upon reddit's policy change and removal of all subreddits sexualizing minors, well known blogger and Gawker writer tweets "do /mensrights next." not /niggers, not /radicalfeminism, not any other truly offensive or extreme subreddit...just us.I just hope everybody realizes that the vast majority of Redditors don't take anything that asshole says seriously, at all. He's probably one of the most abhorred bloggers on Reddit. | /r/MensRights | 14/02/12 03:02 PM
Czech Railways to introduce women-only wagons in their trains (Source google-translated)If there is a problem with whites being harassed or groped constantly and consistantly, and feeling unsafe from it, than I don't see why that would be unfair. That's what Infinitely is saying, I believe. Are they dealing with a large number of instances of harassments/gropings/assaults? Maybe it's just easier to separate them so this doesn't happen as often, if that is the case. | /r/MensRights | 06/02/12 03:02 AM
I tried to have a meaningful conversation with a liberal feminist, yet this sums up my experience. The whole affirmative action thing is a double-edged sword, really. Or maybe just a big circle of fuck-up. With it, women are more easily able to get into fields they didn't have much access to in the past, and opens doors to younger women that becomes interested in a male-dominated field early on in life. But it also gives people an excuse to question whether they got into fields under their own merits, or just because she's a woman. On the other hand, without it women would face much more disc… | /r/MensRights | 06/02/12 02:54 AM
Danish hotel reserves floor for women, is ruled to be illegal. Hotel tells men to fuck off anyway.Maybe they should poll the women that use that particular part of their hotel as to whether they prefer that men not be allowed at all? I, for one, would just use something like that for its oddness, and just to get a kick out of it. That being said, it's still a stupid thing to keep all men out of it. Maybe a floor that caters to women would be acceptable, but the no-men-allowed thing is making it a bit too sophomoric for me. | /r/MensRights | 24/11/11 01:46 AM
"I couldn't take it anymore, I contacted the police and filed a report. They issued an emergency 5 day restraining order and told me they would serve him later in the day" - Is it really this easy to get a restraining order on a man?It certainly wasn't for me, sadly enough. Even after submitting a request the maximum number of times, got turned down every time. The woman that spoke to me when I received my final refusal told me that the judges in my district often don't even look through the requests thoroughly, just skin through them looking for key words. Apparently, on mine, they missed a lot of key words. | /r/MensRights | 24/11/11 12:43 AM
Danish hotel reserves floor for women, is ruled to be illegal. Hotel tells men to fuck off anyway.Wait, wait, wait. So, because a hotel decides to pull some stupid shit, that automatically places the blame directly on the women that utilize it? I find many, occasionally odd, things offensive, but that doesn't mean I hate on the people that use those things. | /r/MensRights | 24/11/11 12:37 AM
Hi, Mens' Rights!I guess I should have clarified that I was wondering if there was any particular woman that you may hold a grudge against. As I said, I'm just curious. I like probing the opinions and circumstances of others; I just try not to probe too insistently or deep. | /r/MensRights | 21/10/11 02:36 AM
Hi, Mens' Rights!I'm seriously considering switching to nursing, as the job availability is massive at the moment. There's a severe shortage of nurses all across the country, and I can literally walk right into a 30k/year job the minute I get my associates. I also appreciate your viewpoint. You seem to be a very balanced individual. | /r/MensRights | 20/10/11 09:11 PM
Hi, Mens' Rights!"Discriminated" is a tricky word and very general. Do you mean we shouldn't take a persons sex into consideration when hiring them (or something along those lines) or should we make laws against people doing things considered misogynistic like a lot of reddit making jokes about "why isn't she in the kitchen"? As far as jokes go, sure, the "women in the kitchen" joke is kind of old but the majority of the time, it's really just a joke. Men will joke about women, and women will joke about men. Jus… | /r/MensRights | 20/10/11 05:25 AM
Hi, Mens' Rights! No, I didn't! My attention span doesn't allow for stuff like that, but I thank you for pointing it out. I shall take a look. :) | /r/MensRights | 20/10/11 05:14 AM
Hi, Mens' Rights!I can totally see where you're coming from. I, too, believe that men do deserve more attention, especially in family courts and law. Many women do get it easier when it comes to breaking the law, and that just shouldn't be. I think the problem is that this country in general tends to take everything to extremes. Everything is either black or white. I confess to having a fear that many people would sacrifice women's rights if more attention is paid to men's, although I hope that would not happen.… | /r/MensRights | 20/10/11 04:27 AM
