I don't know a single addict who could resist pain pills lol. You can't force her to call trust me. I've had a similar situation with a family member not reaching out and it took years before we saw them again. It just takes time for a person's mindset to change. It cracks me up that you and your dad talk about women from a red pill perspective and you're a woman. Like, what kind of conversations do you guys have?

I love to hate on reddit and troll it's users but it is a good website. I got a lot of help with problems on advice subs too. Man that's cool that you guys have a hobby you do together. I drink occasionally too I think me and you are the types to be able to stay clean without complete abstinence from alcohol. I'm sure you're dad is more proud of you than you realize. He can probably see what you do to keep the family together!

Believe me I know what you mean. I put my mom through hell with my drug use. It's a great feeling to be sober for family isn't it? Just remember that it's a great thing what you're doing for your pops but you've gotta take care of yourself first. Don't let anyone negatively affect you. I've also had family members that are like this sub and the people featured on this sub and it sucks sometimes but at the end of the day they're still family so I get exactly where you're coming from.
