You're supposed to want to be respected because of the benefit you bring to the lives of others. I have a job like yours, where I get paid to do what I do and no one bothers me because they know I'm indispensable. 1	Why are Losers so Afraid of Winning? Look, I get where you're coming from. But it sounds like you're missing the whole other piece of how many people with outsized confidence are actually blowhard assholes who don't know what the fuck they're doing but are just unable to realize that the whole "no excuses, take everything on" mentality doesn't work in every situation.
