This kinda thing reminds me of Adam Curtis. I’ll have to look into it. Cause century of the self and hypernormalisation are two of my favorite docs ever.

Yeah this country definitely hasn’t been taken over and turned against itself so we are weaker. That would never happen. No one would ever attack the United States like that.

For real. It’s an insult that my tax dollars go to feeding people like this.

Did the government make money from it? Then it’s probably ok for a cop to do. Does it add to the silent oppression men face? Then it’s probably ok for a woman to do.

Yeah they’ve been CIA operatives. Set out to accomplish the goals of the ruling elite. Mainly to take more money from the peasant class. Before women empowerment movements they could only take half the households money and they could only influence the children for six or so hours a day. NOW they can take a lot more money and influence children for a lot more time! It’s a win win.

Two sides same coin. “It’s not bad when we do it. Cause we are on the right side of history!” Until they’re not.

No this isn't about the songs themselves at all it's about the reception of said songs. Man makes song about killing woman it's deemed disgusting and abhorrent. Woman sings the exact same song about a man it's deemed empowering just as T3ST said. Or what I think was meant by it.

Good wife I definitely approve stick with that one!! I agree with the censorship type stuff you touched on too. It's not anyone's place to tell an artist "hey you can't say that" but remember the result of that cop killer song. All I'm lobbying for is an even playing field.

Yeah I mentioned the cheating song on my comment to girlswriteswhat. That song actually gets my mom worked up too.

I guess I'm just getting worked up because it seems to me like nowadays it's becoming more acceptable for women to be violent toward men in music and less so the other way around. If people truly want equality let me have a song on the radio about shooting and killing a woman or catching my girlfriend cheating and beating the shit out of her car. The problem is that's "not socially acceptable" and the only reason we would ever hear about a song like that is because of outrage from the fems about…

would you want it to happen to you?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
