Subjective judgements with perhaps some agreement are sufficient when you study simple correlation, but not when attractiveness is a confound that needs to be controlled for. A) yes it does B) you have women rate attractiveness, not researchers

Hm, i didnt realize that attractiveness was the only thing that predicted confidence. Here I am studying psychology for 12+ years and thinking that it was a complex set of mental health factors, social status, self-esteem, socioeconomic factors, and just pure completely malleable self talk, but one Black Pill guy showed me that my years of training and research were totally bunk and it's just subjectiveness attractiveness. No, it's only part of it. Other studies show that even delusional self confidence (ie dark triad narcissism) is attractive. There was even a study that men who wore cologne and smelled better were rated s more attractive IN PHOTOGRAPHS. In other words, the confidence made them attractive.

70 is absolute is poverty in certain areas. Hmm... I live in New York, which has one of the highest costs of living in the US, and I'm right near the city in a relatively expensive area. Well A) those are 2006 dollars I believe, so those number as more like 100K/yr now. I'm not sure what country you live in, but in the US 70K is pretty decent. 50K is average US. Status is relative, and at 70K you'd be in the upper 25% of the population. But the decrease after 70K is really minor. It exist, but it's nowhere near the stress of poverty shown.

I'm not sure about stress levels, but as far as we know Happiness and Life Satisfaction goes up with income, with a cap around 70K/yr (I think it's more like 100k/yr in 2019 dollars)... How stress fits in there i'm not sure, but I would assume that life satisfaction and stress are inversely correlated.

Speed dating isn't 'stated preference'... you actually date the people you choose. This isn't some 'what do you think is attractive' questionaire. They find which guys were actually chosen to continue communication, and then run analytics off this.
