Have a life where you meet people and do stuff. But if you're religious join a religious singles group.

Being loved and loving someone is as badic to the human experience as having friends or parents. It’s better to see the truth and learn through living then to sit back and try nothing at all.

Please, I’m stronger and went more when it comes to dating than you. You have the luxury because you were lucky. Instead of being thankful you look down on people. People who have went through more than you ever could and insult them. You were never tested. You never had to choose between the person you wanted to be and the life you wanted to have. I know I am less sensitive than you because I have gone through more, because people like me would never go on the internet calling men weak and sens…

You really think men have changed more than women in recent history? People are people and men aren’t any more weaker them before. The game changed and women have gained and men have lost. Which is good for equality but bad for dating. The idea that suddenly men are weaker is just shaming men for things that are often out of their control. Which of course you would never believe because I must be weak and my struggles in dating have nothing to do with being 5’3 Asian guy as your article says. Bu…

Women would rather be alone than be with them. They are insecure because they have been judged not good enough which women have made clear to them. Online dating, meeting women in real life, approaching women, meeting women in their social circle, women they are friends with. They aren’t projecting insecurity onto women. Women , men society tell them they aren’t good enough. Men are just saying what’s peopke already tell to them. You act like the insecurity is unfounded.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/23 06:37 PM

Men mock women who think they deserve men of wealth and physical attributes. They don’t hate women who want a hug and get ignored on online dating. Or at least them men who acknowledge such women exist. Women who don’t feel like women because they aren’t physically built like one. Ugly men are still scene as men.

Status. Women want men who reflect well on them more then what they provide mostly. For example a women who knew the same man the same amount of time would rather go on a date with a guy who makes people laugh rather then someone who makes her laugh.

It’s most of it though. I mean if all female status, power and achievement requires her to be married with kids, all the other stuff matters way less. Obviously it’s a shit deal for women though.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/23 02:19 AM

I have worked harder and longer than most. It’s a painful moment when you realize that the things you can’t change are more important than the things you can change and the time you sacrifice and work for never pays off. You have control of your effort but not of your success and when you are alone in your thirties body starting to get run down from the years of running marathons and lifting weights do you realize, it’s time to start living for today and not sacrifice for tomorrow.

If you can’t get a date, well it’s not something I r see puked do but I can’t blame a guy working his assort for years and still failing that he lies about his height in online dating by a few inches.

Not my experience. I was pretty social and the guy who new everyone. Not that it hurts, but at the end of the day physical requirements that you often can’t control matter a lot more then your social circle size

But th guy beneth them didnt bang them then forget them. If these women can get a good man that isnt "beneath them" into long term relationship where the guy isnt abusive, weird, cheating, then they absolutly should. But a women I believe can get into a relationship with a guy she believes is beneath him and a women can absolutly help a guy with his insecurity more then she can convince a guy to commit to them. Not saying she should have to, but sayings its a better option. Its up to her if she …

In my real life, the only women who reported having issues in dating who were also social and in shape were women in their 50's +. Not that they didnt find people but I believe they had a harder time and had to compriomise on things such as only dating men near their own age.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/23 05:57 PM

No, its because they have a harder time, but no one wants to accept that maybe its not ALL their fault. People think men want to force women to date them. No one wants that. They just want to acknowledge that there is a change.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/23 05:54 PM

I dont think guys have ever claimed that looks dont matter the most for women in dating.

All relationships that are important need to be emotionally supportive. You need to know the people in your life want good things for you . If you aren’t getting emotional support form your SO , then what the hell are you getting? Not saying your SO is the only source but if they don’t support you emotionally then I dint see the point.

Confidence is not built on achievement. That’s why imposter syndrome exists. That’s why all the people in Hollywood suffer despite success and fame and money and looks. Confidence is knowing who you are and what’s important to you. It’s about knowing you can control and that your success does not define you.

Is it better to say women have changed and men have stayed the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 09:58 PM

Validation. That’s it. Having pain validated and to not be seen as lazy and less then.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 07:33 PM

Guys won’t go evil because they don’t get what’s entitled to them. They go evil because no one acknowledges their pain. If society accepted that many men struggle and as a society they are deserving of support, not judgement nor derision. To be seen as a person in pain , not a virus to be cut out. Then we wouldn’t have this problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 07:32 PM

This here is the problem. That men are not deserving of empathy. No guy expects to guilt a women into a relationship. They just want it accepted that it is hard and often not worth it . You are the person people are trying to change .
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 07:29 PM

Almost every guy is insecure and they all pretty much learn their value to women through relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 07:27 PM

They don’t expect empathy, they expect people to accept their lives in experience irrespective of their gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/23 06:02 AM

Yes. I ran marathons. Made a lot of friends till my knee messedup, But I have a lot more confidence in my social skills and my value as a friend. But it took time and a hobby I would do even if I never made friends.

Because people who dont have something value it more when they get it, and if a guy cant find happiness in one area he will develop himself in others and will base his happiness based on other things. IS there a guy who is depressed at home unahppy and doing nothing with his life better. Probably not. But a guy who knows works to live a happy life who has few options, because he doesnt care about the things that makes him attractive, or refuses to do things that might help him find women better.…

I remember reading comments on clips from the devil wears prada thinking, women are only nice because they have to be to someone of higher status with power. Like all niceness was fake and manipulative. If you were good at stuff important like your job then you were still a good person as long as you didn’t lie or sabayon people. Niceness in that movie was a weakness and based on the comments from what I assumed wear women, a lot of women agreed

If you dont meet the fitness / social status requirements for a women, you dont get a date or really even a converstation. You need one to get a chance at the other. people who read books are more empathetic. The people I know who read more arent cleaning up in dating. Espcially in HS or college.

It’s the point where you realize you have to change in ways others might think are better to get what you want but not in ways you want to change. I stopped working out as much when I got negative effects from doing it too much and started painting warhammer miniatures and playing at my local board game shop. I like my change but it ain’t going to help me get a date.

As someone who found the answer for himself, it’s at the point where you have to be someone you don’t want to be to get what you want or the self improvement itself like working out too much has negative effects in your life. It’s a painful thing when you realize that the things you can’t change matter more then the things that do. But that’s something you have to go out in the world and find out for yourself.

I dont know about you but rejection never made it easier next time. Everytime I was rejected it felt like I was not only being rejected by that person but like I was reliving all the previous rejections by all the previous women. As long as men are the pursuers, they will approach women who are physically attractive. An older women with experience knows that the best way to get what they want is to go after the men they want. If a women is complaining why men their age dont approach them, they arent very wise to me.

I think most of the time a guy approaches and/or messages someone on online dating and fail, its because of looks. Conversation /flirt assumes someone will engage in converstion with you. Most of the time I have gotten rejected they didnt.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/23 09:12 PM

You wont resent people who say that the reason you dont have life is because you didnt try. You wont resent women who reject you.You may enjoy your life more. Not improving yourself doesnt mean you do nothing. The lie people say is that if you improve yourself you will be happy. You will find love. You will have more self esteem. The trutyh is none of that is really true.

Or the point for some after trying for years is to realize that the things you can change dont matter as much as the things you can. In general I think that women always wondered what being with a man meant about them. But now more then ever looks matter more with the advent of social media. Where before they would be more about job and maybe even relay how he treats her, now if a guys value isnt demonstrable easily on social media, then they are less valuable.

Women chase attractive men to if they were responsible for approaching , asking men out, and being expected to prove your worthiness for sex. The average man by virtue of taking this responsibility have more character in the world of dating (Not relationships) then women. At the end of the day its easier for a man to ask out 100 beutiful women, then it is to be happy in a relationship where there is no sex because there is no physical attraction.

It doesnt make the intrinsically bad people not wanting to fuck a guy. It doesnt make a guy instrinsically bad if he doesnt want to fuck a women. but men will almost all agree that loosk matter the most. Women will claim men have bad souls or arent real men. Because society does not accept that women are just as superficial as men and care about material wealth, and correctly criuticized them for that in the same way they criticize men, then you absolutly could not. As a 5’3 Asian guy, not in my experience. Sometimes the effort you put in simply reveals how little the things you can change matters compared to the things you can’t. And you realize you have to be something you don’t want to be if you want to get something you want

But what happens when you become the best version of yourself and you realize it doesnt matter and that the best version of yourself is one women arent attracted to. That the things youc an change dont matter or dont matter enough. DO you choose to become what women believe the best version of yourself is or what you think the best version of yourself is. Do you choose to be someone you dont want to be in order to have the life you dont want to live.

When you decide you wont have anyone, you will ask yourself what your best life would look like. What your best self will look like. And often its a painful and ugly answer. And when you figure that out you can only go about building that life/person and see if its a life worth living. But you are free from any assumptions of how much money you make, what you shoudl look like or what society deems as acceptable.

Plenty of men know what its like to get into a relationship, then suddenly get attention from women who ignored him. Plenty of married men know what its lik to get older with money and gain confidence and have more women give them attention. The sad thing is you don’t realize that for a lot of guys, they can’t settle for looks but they can settle for personality. I dunno. Women are fine with being able to take care of themself financially and many dont care about kids. So all thats left is that they want a man to engage them emotionally. And guess what. Women are constantly talked about shitty men and shitty relationships and being used for sex. Women are runnign aroudn demanding more from men and resent anyone who says maybe they themselves arent good enough. Lets face it, one sex gets told way more from their own sex and the opposite sex that they arent good enough.

For most men, acknowledgement is enough. Men who complain about their situation aren’t expecting people to change. That’s the incorrect assumption people make in this sub.

Less emotional support from other men. Less emotional support from society The idea of being a good person is tied to a male identity that has little to do with who you are as a person but what you have or you can provide. Men who are rejected by society are ore likely to not engage in society and in many cases create negative consequences to society. Women have more ways to value themself in the eyes of society then men.

Like in the CDC rape statistics they include unwanted touch. As a guy who sucks at datign in the internet who wanted to know why you read a lot. One of those was the DiCarlo escalation ladder. Basically a progressive order of touching that mover from the less to the more sensativ area. The idea was supposedly to physically engage a women. The thing about it was after each rung you are told re recalibrate based on her reaction. Whcih also means stop if she is uncomfortable. Which in of itself see…

Pot calling the kettle black? Never heard that term? You may not know this but in the world of seduction one of the things people talk about is physical escalation. it was a line too far for me personally. I did not feel comfortable with it. But basically in order to buuild attataction you initiate touch. You move that touch progressivel to a more lets say sensitive area. And the goal is that after each touch you read her reaction. How do you learn to read a women;'s reaction, experience. Now th…

Im not saying its full proof, but A guy would not pressure a girl for anal. It would be the women's goal. So If something does happen ins a society where progression in sex is a women's job, and he even asked for anal outside of an established relationship, that would be seen the same as immorally wrong.

Yeah... Maybe you need to go see someone. I feel like you might be the one projecting. Im not saying I dont need to see someone but it aint for wanting to rape women. If anything my issue is the opposite. An over abundance of empathy that gets me in trouble. But I dont expect you to believe me. The entire point of my argumentis to never put a women in an uncomfotable postion where she never has to feel pressured to do anythign she isnt comfortable with.

No, but I think a man who approaches a women will have a cultural leg up as far as being seen as agressive and coercion. The line would be much clearer. The issue with rape is there is not a clear line. Its he said and she said. With women taking the cultural responsibilityu a women would never just end at a man's place unless she asked. A women would not leave a party with a man unless she asked. And in the eyes of a jury or as proof, it would be clearer. Also for men it would be clearer where …

Whether you are a minority or majority, as long as you have equal oppurtunity, then you dont need inclusion. But of course I would be lying in saying that there is value to seeing someone like you in different positions. So I do believe that if you have NO people of color or only people of color, or no women or no men in a position of power in your organization, thats just bad for business. Stupid things happen when you get too many people who are all from the same background.

As a guy, I think 90 percent of men have tried and failed at online dating. By fail I mean even if they get a date its not with anyone they are all that attracted to. So all men already feel unattractive. And women, they are all on social media. Their boyfriends even more now have to be someone that they can show off. Throw in that more women are educated and want a guy with simialer eduication. Throw in that women make more, which invariably men will make less. Add to the fact that a lot of guy…

A lot of them run the gambit, and a lot of them can get sex, but it feels like a lot of the men who are willing to be with them don’t want a relationship and are willing to have sex with them, but unwilling to show them any kindness. While I agree having a guy use you for sex sucks, if he is nice to you and takes you out in the process; that’s way better then not being able to have sex at all. the thing about being a hot guy versus a hot girl, there really isnt any downside. Like a hot guy will do better at whatever career they have while a hot girl will be taken less seriously. A hot guy , lie a hot girl walsk through life with [people smiling at him. Succesful guy has to work way harder then the hot guy to be succesful and will never be the hot guy. The hot guy can be succesful and hot.

Still gave her the ticket and walked away but man, it kinda ruined the day for me. Swear based on her reaction I handed her a poisonous snake.

True vulnerability is being able to rely on someone when they cant handle stuff. Sobbing mess 24/7 is one thing, but its another to be vulnerable and have it used against you.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/22 06:23 PM

I dunno, you are talking to a 5'3 asian guy. Im sure my experience isnt typical. At the end of the day, looks is what makes most guys approach and risk rejection. You have a better chance of having women do all the approaching or having the more attractive women date more and treat them badly; then having men risk rejection on women they arent really attracted to physically.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/22 06:08 PM
7

Rejection. it has negative effects. Resentment from women. Loss of confidence. A general sense of lack of any control inlife and nihilism. Look at all the red pill/ black pill guys that basically had to destroy any empathy toward women in dating in order to find success. Many men have to sacrifice that rather then lose their confidence. All this trying and failing comes with huge emotional costs.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/22 05:53 PM
6

Yeah but approaching is hard. Rejection is hard. Attracctiveness is the main driver of what makes a guy deal with rejection. Its not abotu realization. Plenty of guys know less attractive women are less entitled.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/22 05:50 PM
11

Nah.. I go outside and I seel the same men getting chased by women while the same guys getting ignored. Im sure you like men just see the attractive people.

No you dont neccesarily get results if you do that. Thats the point. The more effort you put in the more you relialize the things you cant control matter then the things you do.

You only get numb to rejectuon if you have some wins and some loses. Someones ability to put themself out there depends a lot on their success.

If the dems had gotten rgb out this wouldn’t have happened. And if they would rather talk about trump then making pro choice as important to dems as pro life is to republicans things would be different.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/22 05:55 AM

Do you look at the economic condition of rural states and think… yeah they need less power in government. The rural states should have been won over by dems, but they suck so hard they have made no headway.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/22 05:53 AM

The dems care more about September whatever then coming up with a plan for roe or inflation. They talk more about race then going out and supporting unions because they don’t want to be anti business.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/22 05:45 AM
5

Inflation might be happening but that’s no excuse to have a plan . And it’s not the minority ruling. It’s that dems suck at getting shit fine and they blame everyone else but themself for their shittiness. The republicans listen to their people more. The Democratic Party would never let a popular person they couldn’t control like the republicans let trump be president. They had plenty of time to pass roe into law. They just never made it a priority nor the will.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/22 05:41 AM
1

Yeah dems also like to blame republicans too . Like they never saw roe coming. I would rather vote for republicans in hopes that the dems wake up, get their shit together and finally get some leadership change. 4 more years of trump is less a threat to democracy then a Democratic Party that does nothing but blame republicans and fights a meaningless culture war.

ITs more an issue if the guy makes a lot more money then the women. The tasks are split as people want it for the most part. I mean the tasks are not enourmosly more because fo the addition of the guy. If the guy makes a lot of money and her leaving him means she will take a step down in lifestyle (Doesnt have a guy who will take his place with the equal amoutn of money) and deal with the societal backlash, then she will leave. the biggest reason people in unhappy marriages stay is for women wht…

You never know until you get out there. There are a lot of factors. People will say the guiys who do fine are average or the guys who do horrubly are normal. Some women cant actually realize that men have as strong and deep emotions as women. They would actually just shame them for their feelings. Men struggle. It doesnt matter if its better or worse then women, they struggle too. Acknoledging the struggle is the only way you can actually take this society out of the dark ages the same way women did the same for other women. By acknowledging their struggle.

You gotta live life and have relationships with people to grow as a person. If you down all your time at self improvement until you feel like you are ready, that’s just a defense mechanism to avoid taking a risk because you feel like you aren’t ready. Better to have bad relationships and realize your flaws then to sit alone and try to figure yourself out. It’s okay to make mistakes. That’s how most people learn and grow. I used to meet so many women when I spent more then a decade running marathons and meeting people at running groups. I was the guy who knew everyone. I was still a 5'3 guy asian guy.

It’s not transactional. Men can and do become emotionally involved with women. They let their guard down. They come to emotionally depend on and allow women to emotionally depend in them. And to men that is love. But too often women aren’t feeling the same thing. Women get and give emotional support without it being anything more then friendship while men do this type of thing very rarely . It’s not transactional it’s how many men feel love is to them but realize women don’t. A man who allows th…

There are plenty of stories of men who spent a lot of time getting to know women who think that it will lead to dating but it isnt. Im not saying that the friend zone exists but it is how it feels for a lot of men. Men and women have very different views on the early stage and whileit is apperent that getting to know someone is just friendship to a women, often times getting to know someone is an attempt to move into dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/22 12:54 AM

Its more about effort versus benefit. Most guys learn very early hopefully rthat how you feel abotu someone has nothing to do with how they feel about you. So men realize actions speak lopuder then words. So they force actionf rom women to gauge their interest because they realize getting to know someone very rarely changes the outcome as far as sex.

Any activity you do solely to meet women, where as youe enjoyment is totally on how effective it is to help you date will inevitably have you slip back into negative habits. I find either you need a goal or a skill you want to get better at. Runnign was great because it was a long term goal of running a mile then a 5k then a half marathon. And plugging into running groups are nice too. Anything that doubles as social interactiona and workout is good. Have them move on no longer having time for you or having anythign in common with you. Making new friends who do the same thing, so you make new friends who do the same thing. In a constant…

And another hard pill to swallow that sometimes looks do matter and it is the most determinant factor in dating. My dating life as a 5'3 asian guy in the US would be completely different if I was a 6'2 white guy.

Nothign worse then getting rejected by a common friend, especially a common female friend. If you think a women ever cares about her single guys friends, you would be wrong. Female friends are in theor own world dealign with their own shit. They dont care if you are single or not. I say this as someoen with more femal then male friends and a fairly large social group.

I have tried this. I was the person who new everyone. Just tried to surround myself with positive good people who had common interests in. What you learn is that you end up having no perment people in your life. Peiople move into and out of your life and while everyone has at least a divorce or kids to talk about. You are always alone, having to make new friends when you rold ones move on for work or meet someone. All that did is teach me how hollow adult friendships are.

Presonally I tried that path and hobbies and friendships have diminishing returns for me. Things I enjoy loose satsifaction. Friendships are good but people move into and out of your life rapidly. To many men, its the best of all those options. None of those things fulfill a man's needs the same. Equality. Better educated women. Obviously its not bad but for a long time women had to be with a guy to survive. Now women have more of a choice and make more money then men on their 20's so being with a guy is an option. Not to mention women who are educated have less of a chance having kids. Society has shifted in a way to be better for women. Obviously its not perfect but it has gotten better. What it means to be a women has changed, but what it means to be a man has not.

Its not that you dont fall for a guy's personality its that you wont even give him a chance if he is short unless he is the most charismatic confident guy in the room. Women seem to think abotu a guy they want to be with and they think abou this personality. Its what means the most. But for a lot of guys, the hardest part is just getting the date. So yeah a women only really cares abotu personality becasue she is a…

You have no idea what its like to put yourslef out their in your 20's and 30's and find no success. To think back and realize how the largest source of negativity in your life is dating. That you never have any success so you have no idea what you want. To look back and realize the person you wanted to be, the person you were proud of was nto attractive to women. Men are superficial, but most women are also superficial and will not date a man shorter then her . So when the question comes are women superficial the answer in my mind is yes, and if you ask if men are superficial my answer is yes.

This is how men experience the world. It makes no sense to us too. But we are forced to accept the world as we experience it and decide how to respond. We are still responsible for our choices but this is our lived in experiences.

I always laugh at stuff like this becasue women say they dont care about looks. And I say as a 5'3 asian guy I find a very different story. And then people will say I dont count. Then women will say yeah of course women want a guy at least as tall as them. And if you call them out suddenly I am forcing women to be with someoen they arent attracted to. When all I am trying to say is women are superficial.

I get being good looking enough is part of it, but dont you feel like shit lying to someone? To me its not because I was attractive enough, but its that you have the moral flexibility.

If most men could date and still be moral, then they would. The thing is you are asking many men to be alone. To not just not have sex but not have a family or experience love. So its hard for me to judge to harshly men who play in the grey area. And this is as a man who has chosen morality over love.

Long distance running and dating had a lot of parallels to me. When you start out running you try to push yourself. You meet people who you train harder then. Then you get your first major injury and you have to stop because pushing forward does more harm then good. Eventually you realize that the need to push yourself is a …

I f you say here it sucks because women care about height and rarely want to date someoen who is shorter then them; people here say its wrong to force women to date men they arent attracted to. Or if a guy here says its hard approaching women all the time to only get ignored; women will say youa rent entitled to a women's attention. Most guys first inclination when they get a hot girl isnt to show her off to his friends and put a picture on social media. Hell many guys complain about being with a really attractive girl because of how much attention she gets from guys hitting on her and dealing with her orbiters. Is it nice to have a hot girl and have your friends give you a high five. Sure. But IM sure he would rather be at home fucking her. I read somewhere where a women said less attractive guys are too insecure to date less attractive women. First that makes no sense. And secondly is this projecting? Like are there men some women want to date but they are too insecure?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 11:24 AM

Its a vicious pattern for some. You build yourself up, feel good about yourself but the moment you start to try to date you realize how meaningless it is. You just keep thinking about how negative dating is. How it is just a black hole of happiness that draws all your confidence. How it is all this wasted mental and physical effort. How you have put so much time and effort and emotion into it; only to get nothing out of it but more negativity. And the world just accepts that this is the way it i…

I think it is reductive to say rejection is always explicit. I have had too many times where I was completely ignored on approach in social situations where I knew that the person was afraid if they showed me basic human respect, I migth misinterpret it as interest. And yes anger can be an issue but often this happens in a public place surrounded by mutual friends. Its not fun being introduced by a mutual friend only to have that person ignore you.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 09:29 PM

To me I am mre thinking abotu women who will basically ignore me in normal situations but be willing to talk to my better lookign friend. AS if given a basic amount of human kindness I will fall in love. And its better to be rude to me then talk to me because I am not good looking.

So the women don;t think their short term guys are more attractive but outside observers do. SO when a omwn says she didnt find the guy she liked to be more attractive she is telling the truth, but objectively he is more attractive. Add to that women got more matches then men. So objectively short term guys are more attractive and date way more then most of the men.

I was watching some clips on The devils wears prada. I assumed that most of the commenters were women. The thing abotu everyone in this move is that for the most part no one is nice. Everyone is not just uncaring, they are mean, condescending and at time (however probably not neeldessly) cruel. Yet the women talked and complimented these characters as if they were good people. You cant tell men to lower their standards any more then you can tell women. People cant control what they are attracted to and in the current society, more and more men will be alone and single. And unless people can address this problem in a positive way that still gives men value; there will be more hate. Women dont need men anymore. Not liek they used to. More men will be single. This problem will grow.

If you dont take an attempt to acknowledge the feeling of a group of people. If you minimize. You shouldnt be suprised when they grow angry. See this is the crux of the problem. I never said there arent non shallow women. But I am saying that not all men will find love. And these men are going to have a hard time for a lot of thiings out of their control. I am no tryin in anyway to attack women; I am trying to support men. I dont disagree with anything you say. Because men take romantic failure personally and either they get very sad or very angry. If women admitted that at times it is unfair, it would do a lot to deal with the shame and stigma of failingin dating. IF you paint faminists as all ugly lesbians ; it shouldnt be a surprise that feminists would be angry. I wish there was a movemen among men and women that said men are not their job nor is their success with dating based solely on things they can control nor is it a judement on their character. What are men good for to today's women? Money/ secutiry/family. No not really. So what about love? Is it really love or someoen who looks good on instagram and to their friends. Someone tall, in shape, with a good job andis social. There was a ted talk where a women talked about online dating and she wrote a long list of things she wanted. Then she wittled it down. What stayed? At least 6 foot and jewish. What got pruned; things like kindness and honesty.
