I help foreign companies with doing business in Vietnam. You can call me a consultant, but I like to call myself a fixer. Depending on which country in SE Asia 12,000€ goes a very long way. You could easily live 12 month in Cambodia or Laos. Singapore is a different story. You’d be lucky to survive 3 months with 12k

I moved from the Netherlands to South East Asia in 2008. Still not a single moment of regret. If you have the urge to go I suggest to go for an exploration trip first. When airtravel is allowed again, book a 2-3 week trip to you potential destination. Then go an explore how life will be by trying to live like a local.

Start marinating meat. Get an airfryer and cook your meat in it. Also a good way of learning cooking technique is to start making stocks and broth. Crockpot or pressure cooker will help you out a lot.
