I am non new to this, I’ve been exposed to the movement for a couple of years, you can’t just say “trust me, I’ve tried.” Because I know that you haven’t tried hard enough, I personally know a lot of people that would be willing to talk to you, I am amongst them. Don’t claim they can’t be reached because they’re feminists.

False rape accusations are a problem but they’re just as big a problem as being falsely accused of any other serious crime, as for the jobs part I can’t say much as I don’t live in the us, in my country it’s actually quite a different story, the fields dominated by men are the highest paying and when more women come into these fields the pay and reputation sinks drastically

First of all I’m a socialist although I don’t really see how that matters, I will be frank and say that besides the points I brought up I don’t agree with much of your politics in the slightest. This is all in the past and I can tell you that right now in Nepal there is an old tradition that thankfully has been outlawed which involves women going to a cabin in the woods with almost no food and shelter just because they’re on their period, I don’t want to make this the oppression olympics but let’s just say that there’s a lot to unpack on the women’s side

As it’s late and I’m broke I can’t get ahold of the movie right now but I watched her ted-talk and whilst I don’t agree with all that she’s saying I am with her on many points, as long as both parties are civil I think there needs to be more debate between MRA’s and feminists (not pointing out either party, both can be a bit intense)

I did not claim to be an MRA, I claimed to support some of your ideals, as what I meant by that quote specifically is that feminism is the belief in equality and that specifically seems to be what you desire (exact definition of feminism from the Oxford dictionary below) Feminism, the belief in social, economic, and political equality of the sexes.

What I mean by toxic masculinity is the toxic gender norms, I realize how this might had been misleading, and of course I don’t deny that there is such a thing as toxic femininity because there is, women can show feelings but what they can’t do because of societal norms is things like dressing how they want and not being able to openly talk about periods which are a BODILY FUNCTION just like our digestive system, as the law goes I personally think this issue needs to be a priority, but equally s…
