If you subscribe to this list, you'll be in more of a business partnership than a relationship. Vulnerability and asking for help makes people grow closer. If your partner reacts negatively to that, then it's best to cut your losses and move on. But never being vulnerable prevents you from creating strong relationships.

I feel like all three of those possible solutions would be more damaging than the current situation. I think a better solution would be a societal change where people are motivated to change the way they view sex and relationships (though obviously, the way things are going now, that seems pretty implausible). Also, how would stripping women of their right to vote decrease the amount of single men? Do you mean that women would have to get married/have a bf so he could vote for her as well?

Why is that?

When you say "women don't date losers," what do you think about "loser women"? Do you think they will still only date a guy with a higher status than them?

That's true. But sometimes when you want to talk about issues that predominantly relate to one part of your identity (such as gender), it's more comfortable with a therapist who shares that identity. Such as, POC clients seeking POC therapists and gay clients seeking gay therapists.

At the same time, even if female therapists do try to relate to men, the issue still remains that they will never have an innate sense of men's issues.

I agree. Once you get a single sign that a woman wants you to exchange assets for sex, just leave.

Is there any way this can be changed or do you think it'll basically remain forever?

How's it different than generalizing Western men?

As usual on this subreddit, unsubstantiated claims that fit with the narrative get upvoted.

Also 75.6% of therapists are female. No wonder men can't relate to them.

So men never rape or sexually assault people? I agree with your comment but that seems a little extreme.

What factors do you think make the male suicide rate so high?

Do you think some of the solution could come from reforms of capitalism?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
