Well, idk, it seems like a big reason people come here. Obviously not the only one but it brought me here and it's a pretty pronounced theme in discussions. Seems like a good off shoot. It's cool seeing RPC in general growing.

So you're saying 10s cant also be Godly? Seems twisted. Or maybe I'm mistaken. I've been outside my little town, I know what women look like lol accident of birth doesnt determine looks. Maybe you doubt my perspective or sample size for comparison. I've been around. Just talking about my current circumstances. How do you know lol you been to places? Ive been to places too. Personally I think women from Persia are the most attractive but that's just me.

As far as topics, idk really anything could be discussed there that would benfit both and compliment male only and female only discussions in their respective spaces. But really just topics that effect everyone like media, and schooling, and idk maybe even navigating women in the workforce cus thats a reality for all of us. Really anything. Again it's not to replace as much as compliment the males and female only discussions.

That wasn't my initial thought as much as a "RPChristian Whole Family" space of sorts. Simply for broader discussion. I for one, personally speaking would do cartwheels if there was an RPChrisitan dating/matchmaking sup simply cus I'm single. I cant help but say thats a phenomenal idea lol But truly I was just thinking that a space where both parties discuss is simply as important as a male only space and a female only space. I'm glad this is becoming a male only space, I think its nessecary, ju…

I have delt with this before. I agree on turning the lie into truth. I also dont see anything wrong with not wanting to entangle yourself with someone who is living a unhealthy life. I think of over eating as similar to over drinking, or over smoking, or any other vice really. We all struggle with our own vices, but it's also something that can have major impacts on your life together. Overweight = unhealthy/inactive to me and I personally want to have a healthy but most of all active life and a…

OYS #3 Stats: 27, 6'0" 200ish lbs, single, no kids, 1 dog, employeed as a timber marking crew foreman. Physical Imporving, keeping up my lifting and calestnics routine (I only own 90lbs worth of weights and a metal pipe) and even found a friend at my BJJ gym who I can carpool with so i can go more often. He also has actual weights in his garage he said I can use. So ill try to take him up on that offer. But the pain that runs from my shoulder to me left hand has amped up again. Idk if its nerves…

At this point I'll just be thankful for the wife God does deliver me when He does. Our past sins are washed away by Christ. I believe if she is to be my wife God will have afforded her the same forgiveness as me and also grant me the ability to see her "nakedness" with love and grace. Im not saying dont aim for whay is in your eyes going to be the most successful... that's a good aim you have... but i dont think that's how Gods plans for us work. That a understandable. I can turn out pages and pages of writing and talk until I've talked in circles so I kinda accept that no one reads or listens to everything I write or say (this mindset is actually something I'd also like to change cus I recognize how it hurts me). So thanks for taking the time to comment. Also, i really really wanna believe in my heart those things you say. I'm actually reminded that my time wasnt wasted there every day. That's certainly good advice regarding my friend. I have actually learned a lot from him about his beliefs throughout the years. The next time I want to talk about it I think I'll go into the conversation with that mindset. Idk about my aim in life being noble. I think its noble, but that doesnt make it good. Is how I look at it. Is it more noble than providing for a family? Id say no. Now I've long wanted to put out some sort of "product" like a video... but I dont even post to the social media…

Not really at all and only recently have started looking for some. I live alone with my dog, in a very rural area far from anyone I used to know and work for the government. I'm an unwelcome outsider. Which is fine I kinda have lived in that space my whole life, as an unwelcomed outsider. So I just keep myself busy. I've become very autonomous. It's not necessarily the optimal state but it's the state I default to. I have my coworkers. But I keep very thick walls up there for professional reason…

Yes quite literally in the middle of arguments. Standing in the living room holding the phone with my mother on the end of the line (cus they refused to speak to each other) in front of my father sitting on the sofa while he screamed at me and called my mother all sorts of expletives. Then getting screamed at for not repeating the expletives to my mother, then being screamed at by mom. My little sister experienced the same treatment and I'd be lying if i said there weren't times that I wanted to…

Okay now I am not arguing, I am trying to get to the truth and get past my own bias here. But when you say God doesnt group his people that way and has a history of using unbalanced chaotic people to do His will I'd say noth yes and no to that being true. Explaination: like I said my life has objectivly not been that bad yet I cannot deal with it or find it in me thankful for it so therefore I perhaps I am not one of God's "chosen" people. So maybe the split isnt balanced and imbalanced but rath…

I think you're close. Idk, I worked for my dad growing up and our relationship was basicaly "do what I say or I'll kick you out/leave and never come back and leave you to fend for yourself, but if you do what I say I will give you everything you need" any sort of resistance to that was not tolerated. Now I do believe that's a healthy father son relationship that mirrors Gods relationship with us His children. However when reflecting on the environment as a whole I was also subjected to a barrage…

It's very easy on an anonymous forum but thank you. I certainly recognize the voice you refer to but I think it's the only voice in my head, at least I cant differentiates between it and Gods voice sometimes. I also have used that negative monologue to do some pretty crazy impressive things. Litterally climbed actual mountains and other feats while telling myself a loop of insults my dad told me growing up, using them as "I'll show you..." fuel to accomplish a heck of a lot. So I'm kinda attache…

I feel like I can do all these things without a pill. I think what I need is discipline and accountability. Big part is I dont take goals seriously enough to even make them and leave them as aspirations. My car needs a whole new fuel injector, and a full set of aired up tires if were going with that analogy lol cus I'm kinda on blocks behind the shed cover with a tarp right now, starting to have trees grow up through the hood

But if the chemical imbalance is inherent (put there by God himself) then shouldnt I accept it and carry it rather than try to numb it? God gives us the burdens which he also gives us the strength to carry. He made the me this way so i must learn to deal with it i think and taking a pill isnt dealing with it, its numbing the pain so you can continue to do nothing and not serve God in any way (at least that's what I've observed as the result of my father taking various kinds and dosages of SSRI f…

Okay so the "sub-human" stigma I attach to needing medication to simply cope with life comes from my mind going down this objectivly false yet subjectively very real thought patern which has permeated my life since the day in kindergarten right after my parents got divorced when I got moved to the table for the children with divorced parents, where we had to make two of every art and craft while the other kids went on to do other stuff. But the thought pattern I have is that: there are clearly t…

These are all greatly appreciated feedback. Truly. Please dont thinkin arguing here now, my mind kinda works by dissecting away to try to get to the truth. Gotcha, thatll be tough. I have to actually become a real disciple of Jesus before I can do that. I may not bear any fruit till I'm in old age truthfully. How do you make disciples? I'd imagine it requires knowing God's word (give myself a 1 outta 10 on that one) believing God's will to be good (6/10) and then being confident enough to talk to non Christians about it (I dont talk to anyone outside work so that's a nonstarter for me) Idk, I got a lot of work to do if in going to have a decent lif…

So I'm only 27 but I already feel like I've wasted most of my life. Part if it is mix leisure and work too much I think, or at least have very blurry boundaries between the two. I dont really do the video games but your League of Legends thing makes me think of my football career which has contributed greatly to my feelings of wasted time I think. Define "worthwhile and enriching" things because I have found that what I find worthwhile and enriching isnt really respectable at all. So I'm left not sure where to invest my life. Everything I think of is utterly stupid and a waste of my potential. But the paths I've followed which have been laid before me by others (parents or ex fiancee) seem to me to be fruitless. So yeah how would you define enriching and worthwhile. Cus on paper I've achieved this but I dont feel it.

Well I'm hopefully going to take the first of 12 steps to get closer to Him and surrender my life onto Him tonight. I'm going to an AA meeting for the first time tonight and hope they let me in with all this pandemic pandemonium. I dont drink to excess, but I've heard several say 12 steps is a great ritualized surrendering to God. I'm excited about it actually. I think I need support. Ah, okay, I must only be darkness then, because I have been told that, ex fiance left when she saw my light go out. Surely I'll regret it. I'm content and comfortable but not really happy or healthy by any means I regret that's it's been 27 years of my life that have gone by that I've missed. Utterly missed. Nothing in the past 27 years had been meaningful or a glorification of God. No Jesus certainly wasnt a liar, my problem is I'm content in my sinful existence and dont trust that I can achieve repentance. I cant let go of what is comfortable and known. I cling to my sins as it defines me. It has hold of me and I wont let it go. I dont believe that I can truly attain repentance.
