Oh no, men use the machinery of government to rob other men all the time.

I just lay into women who make sweeping denouncements of men. It usually works, but I rarely have to. It's an issue where the double standard is so clear that people actually pick up on it pretty fast.

To be honest, this makes me think the main goal should be about equal rights between genders and look at both sides of the issue. Obviously there are issues where men lose, but I wonder if there are others where women lose but it's hard to see from the perspective of being a man. In all likelihood this movement will go overboard.

I'm not a frequent commenter here, but my guess is the point here is to correct for perceived inequalities. When it comes to family rights, divorce, child support, rape accusations and other issues, men are treated very differently from women. I would guess the goal here is equality but maybe I'm wrong. Those that go overboard here aren't much different from those that go overboard for feminism, but that probably shouldn't be used as an indictment of either group in it's entirety.

Many are claiming that you should never doubt the accused at all, which is painful to watch. The damage is obviously also in discouraging true rape accusations for fear of not being believed. I'd say the accuser probably shouldn't have been fined, but I understand the police have a need for skepticism.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
