The labeling of Roosh V as an "men's rights activist" irked me a little. He actively disavows the MRM and nobody takes him seriously. I'd really like to see people make a distinction between PUAs/TRP types and MRAs, considering there's mutual animosity between the two communities.

Speaking as a teenager who's in high school right now, it's more about protecting one's academic career than it is a question of bravery. For me, the dream is to maintain straight A's and get to an elite university to study a STEM field (probably computer science). As much as I would like to, arguing with teachers over something like this would probably destroy that dream in a minute. I have experience trying to do this in middle school, and believe me it costed me a little.

I'd like to add that Reddit is a private company as well and we may find ourselves in this situation at some point. We should start preparing for a possible censorship of this community itself. I like this a lot. At the end of the day, the bullshit needs to be dropped and we need to realize that gender doesn't really have any inherent value. There are, and always will be, advantages to being male and to being female, and disadvantages to being either. We should make the most of who we are, but fight injustice where it's wrong. This is not the full extent either. In fact, many elementary schools make you demonstrate your knowledge with art projects, which for me were much harder to do. Also, they banned football because the ball had pointy edges, and they banned soccer because a student tripped. Needless to say, our principal was a p***y.

Yeah - I really think, at least when hiring for a job, that the preliminary resume screenings should have the name removed and should be sorted by ID tags. At least that is a step towards a meritocracy. Feminists seem to like whining about meritocracies because it's not equality they want - it's power, and something that helps equality does nothing for feminist power.

I really think it should be a pure meritocracy. Race, gender, sexual orientation, etc should not matter at all whether hiring people for any sort of job or electing public officials. Racial and gendered quotas are as discriminatory as the pre-1960s era. But as a 50/50 split, if everyone seems to be competent - then it's a good thing.
