The guy was in great physical shape. He was confident, carried himself very well, was a fire fighter. Dude had plenty of things going for him, that is how he got in the door in the first place. He was just lacking a lot mentally speaking. It's hard to date a girl when her brothers and father think you are a moron.

The best ones were those idiots who thought acting like they were buddy buddy with you would somehow open the floodgates. My favorite was some douche monkey who tried really really hard to act "cool" with me. The first time we met I went to shake his hand and instead he fist bumped me, then said "you've got to blow it up man" opening his palm and making an explosion sound. I stared at him for a moment, then told him to just shake my fucking hand. Never saw him again after that.

For sure. I hear what you are saying, and certainly agree to a point. I just find them both equally appalling. Won't argue any of you points, as they are valid. They certainly entertain, I also think they target one of the larger demographics which also boosts their ratings. Old Conservatives watch a lot of news. I certainly was not trying to say your opinion was somehow based upon political profiling (is that a thing?). I figured you had sound reasons to dislike Fox more and you do.

Not really. They both spin a perspective to reach an intended audience. News is entertainment and marketed for views and ratings. Fox has plenty of intelligence hidden within the muck of drivel, as does CNN. They both suck. Jornalists from both networks have come on and claimed they are instructed to spin their stories a certain way. Look at Christiane Amanpour, for an example. She still works for CNN, even has her own show/segment but back in the mid 2000's she called out CNN for allowing thems…

It's possible, but no one should fool themselves into thinking that not getting married will someone protect you from the fallout if things go south. Sucks for you man, but it sounds like you have your own issues to deal with that have little to do with all marriage in general. I don't know your situation so I can't tell you what to do. Best solution in my mind is to tell your wife how you feel and see how shit flies, don't settle for being miserable man, that's no way to live. edit: didn't realize you had a kid in the mix.
