Just wait for them to crash and burn, by that time you’re all healed up hopefully. You can sit back and atleast enjoy that.

Explained my feelings enough and pushed for counseling, if there’s another dick in the picture you wont get through to them.

Im 8 weeks into almost very similar situation but only one kid. She moved out but kept stuff in our condo, and split her time between her moms and our home. I found out shes been seeing someone and all the while in I’m therapy , quit drinking and bettering myself shes made no changes. Also she kept me hoping we could reconcile, until last night i said straight out whats the chances , and she said not gonna happen. I told its time for her to leave cause everyday is hard for me. As she’s gathering…

Things like this is what scares me the most about divorce. What the other parent lets them do, get away with, who’s around them etc... fuck i hope i can reconcile 🤣

Once you know forsure she’s seeing someone your whole mindset will change. Sounds to me like shes already got something in the works or lined u. Sorry dude but be prepared to lose all the hard work you’ve done so far.

This is exactly the stage I’m in, I’m hoping January I’ll finally come to this realization.

Appreciate your opinion. Still 5 weeks since break up so many ups and downs and figuring out feelings and such. It hard , because you want answers now but only time will tell

Yes seeing someone is something that is happening, I cheated on her and paybacks a bitch. We are common law , not married. I understand her mind can change rapidly thats why im being the best i can around her and the best father i can be. We get along well, hangout a couple times a week and still have sex. Id be open to a fresh start but am not holding out hope. In a month or two if I notice she’s distancing her self more and talking about looking for an apartment, ill start tossing her a couple…

I got myself into therapy and telling her how much it’s helping . Trying to convince her to try but its tough, she needs her space but i can feel im getting through slowly.

Yes im not procrastinating, im working on myself and being very civil, we are working together well. She stays on her moms couch half the time and then at our place the other half. Told me shes fine with this arrangement and is not going to see a lawyer, also still pitches in her portion of the mortgage. Never said im never coming back. I’m wondering if she seeing how I change with therapy etc.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
