I highly recommend the book "Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents" Lindsay C. Gibson

We're on our way to our goal of purchasing a bigger property. I would like to open a small boutique dog boarding/kennel business so that I can have a balance between home life and contributing financially.

I commute 1 hour each way and agree it is super tiring. My fiancé and I agreed that I'd work 4 days a week, so on my day off I treat it like a 'homemaking job' and do meal prep, cleaning etc. Having that one day helps it stay clean for the week. If you plan on being a SAHM anyway. Why not start the transition early?

Absolutely good to make sure they are smart. I have been watching youtube videos on tips to make resolutions. One thing that stuck out to me was dividing your year into quarters, months, and weeks. Its much easier to stick to something for a quarter (3 months) and a month or week than say that you are going to achieve x in the year. Giving yourself a year means you're more likely to put it off and that's what I usually do.

Good idea to sit down together and discuss what you each envision. Really makes it a team effort!

That's great! Where did you find such a work book? I think a workbook is a great way to track progress and be held accountable to finish each week.

Decluttering is one of mine too. I've already started to go through my wardrobe and put aside clothes to donate that I have not worn and have been hanging onto "just incase". One thing I want to do in 2020 is follow a 'one item in = one item out' guideline so that when I do feel the need to bring a new piece of clothing or home decor in, I'll hopefully be more conscious in if I actually want to buy it, also to prevent a build up of too much stuff.

Pearls for Christmas! I felt so sophisticated wearing them at Christmas dinner.

Trying to do the same. A few tips I heard were: For every item consider whether you would want to bring it with you if you had to pack up and move tomorrow. If the answer is no, then toss (or donate). For every new item you bring IN the house, there must be one item to go OUT.

I work 4 days a week. Today is my weekday off to get all my cleaning done, errands, meal prep. Got it all this morning and baked cookies for my man... this afternoon I'm going to indulge in some self care - spa day with my girlfriend with facial, mineral pool, and afternoon tea! Ever since I started incorporating self care activities into my "chore day", I've been a lot happier, I actually get more chores/cleaning done than ever before because I want to and our relationship is flourishing.

At the beginning of the year I went down to 4 days a week and do house cleaning, meal prep, shopping on my day off. My SO appreciates it because then he and I dont have to clean in the weekend and we can go away instead or do fun stuff right off the bat instead of both spend half of Saturday cleaning. On days I work I commute 1 hr each way. I like my job but I am so tired at the end of the day to cook and clean, SO is too. He earns a lot more than I do. He has noticed on my one day off how much …

I think men are attracted to confidence. Maybe you are more confident with body hair, good for you. Personally, I am waaaaay more confident removing mine and I do it for my own confidence more so than what a man wants done with my body hair.

Gave him a long kiss this morning before he left for work. It felt a bit forced and I was counting to 7 in my head but I felt his mood elevate and definitely feel he felt wanted! Gonna try make it a habit!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
