I didn't see anyone mention any literary fiction. Consider bibliotherapy. I know it sounds antithetical to the practicality of TRP to read made up stories, but great works of fiction are great because they mirror and explain the human condition in an enlightening way. Much more enlightening than someone explaining what to do in a 6th-grade reading level with bullet points. I would say great literary fiction + specialized knowledge books for your specific industry (IT, mortgage finance, car sales…

OP obviously means extra bitchworking like an autist at 7pm when everyone else is gone. But if your extra work is networking, pursuing breakout opportunities, and learning new job skills - then obviously that is different. Probably simpler advice is that in whatever work you do in or out of the office - have a clear vision of how you will leverage it to improve your situation. Ofc easier said than done though.

No. I don't want to play with a doll. Dolls, pillows of anime girls, and video game/fantasy "gfs" are not healthy IMO. It's bad enough when a real woman has you by the balls emotionally and financially - but when an inanimate object does it - that's another level of problems.

Don't blame you. "The Men Feminists left behind" for people unfamiliar with Jill seems like a title to a fair and balanced expose. Instead her thesis is that men haven't evolved whereas women have. Honestly I HIGHLY doubt a psychologist or psychiatrist can help you with that (but they'll be more than glad to take your money). By all means if you are bipolar, schizo, or some other serious ailment - see a psychiatrist and get on the necessary medication. But if its generic depression and hollowness than don't waste your time or money. Psychologists as a group are not very smart people and they don't have any deep answers.

How is this a redpill question? You are under-qualified and everyone can see it and that's why they hate you. And considering your performance - they are well justified. The people designing new computer chips are PhD-level researchers. Engineers are people utilizing already-designed tools to solve specific pre-defined problems. And 99.99999% of them are not helping toward anything as exciting sounding like "designing computer chips." In software, it's CRUD in a non-tech company. Wow. Good on you for being honest and sharing. I don't blame you. I once bought a girl a Tiffany necklace before we even fucked...ended up never fucking. Also had another in a similar situation - her affair was 69ing with an ex-felon (he told me, not her). She too wanted me to stay and cuddle with her right after I found out.
