1	Not even trying to hide it The 100:1 thing has zero impact on what's fair. The fair or unfair part is the hiring process, which as advertised is unfair, the 100:1 is more likely a result of the typical applicant rather than the actual hiring process itself. Encourage them to be drivers when they are younger, and they will be more likely to apply, this approach has worked in my industry so there is no need for blatantly unfair hiring processes.	/r/PussyPass	27/11/20 07:03 PM

I'd wager the issue is more likely to be grassroots (by that I mean encouragement when younger such as in school) than it is chances, I don't understand someone who would deny somone a job for being female, and I suspect if you look at total applicants you will find the problem there rather than those accepted. But it's totally the wrong way to go about it, if you give someone extra chances based on gender it's both unfair to the other gender, and does not encourage people to think said woman earned her place to the same degree as the men.
