Normal ones? None really. In my personal opinion it's the most overblown "issue" on the Internet. There are risks attached, but they are quite low. The biggest issue with it is the debate of whether or not parents have the rights to do what they wish (or in many cases, practice their religion).

Actually, the degree with the highest acceptance rate into med school is Music. On my phone, I'll try to dig up the source when I get home.

The AAP is not the only organization in favor of circumcision; I have a friend in a Peace Corps medical team that is doing circumcision advocacy and operations in Zambia right now, so there's at least more than one.

I for one am just sick of masculinity being a negative, and the idea of any kind of gender difference being non-existent. Men and women are different. Men as a whole are better at some things; women as a whole are better at others.

If motivations can be justifiably compared for actions then a thief is no different from an employed person; both are motivated by money. It makes no sense to compare these two persons actions, nor does it in your example.
