Okay. But the things you mentioned were fashion, hair care, deodorant, and waxing. Even exercise is disposable as long as you aren't overweight. The truth is that the male gaze sees through most feminine attempts to elevate beauty. Women competing in the realm of fashion, makeup, hair, and perfume are really just competing for status with other women, not for the desire of men.

I agree with your general point. But just as you think men would benefit if they saw themselves through the eyes of a woman, so would you be shocked if you saw women through the eyes of a man. Fashion, hair care, makeup, perfume are like hood ornaments on a car to men: It has to be spectacular for men to notice at all, and even then it doesn't count for very much. The Ugly Betty phenomenon would never happen because men would realize very quickly that she has a great figure and pretty skin.

I think you are identifying a charicature rather than the real phenomenon. Like any peasant they would like to be kings. But their sense of entitlement emerges from their indignation at the inegalitarian nature of the situation. The entitlement is born from the democratic spirit. The reason your queer folk don't share the same entitlement is because they reject the hierarchy in its entirety, not just the inegalitarian nature of it. Of course gays and lesbians don't identify with this struggle be…

They don't act democratic. But their sense of justice is democratic. They feel indignant at the thought that some people are born inherently better off than others. There have been other sexually licentious periods in history, but those periods did not produce the same incel culture because the commoners of those times had no pretensions to being owed the privileges of aristocracy. Don't get me wrong, there was still sexual jealousy. But that jealousy did not receive reinforcement by a feeling t…

No doubt. The reality that most sexually frustrated people, men or women, need to realize is that the self-esteem boost and enjoyment from prolific hookups with desirable mates is transient. It is good if you can have it but it doesn't solve all the problems of life. Most women who enjoy the fruits of hookup culture still aspire to eventually build a life together with a husband as well. So if their desired destination is the same as mine, why should I begrudge them because their journey to the …

I appreciate the compliment. I am by no means bad to look at but I struggled with women early on in adulthood primarily because I attached too much vanity to my expectations. I was looking at girls for a validation that I could not get through hookups. I could get average girls with looks alone, but that's not validating. It's traits like intelligence and wisdom where I excel and those are traits the women prioritize in long term mates, not hook ups. So if I wanted to get girls that met my stand…

The incel antidote is what you said elsewhere: "lowering expectations, not lowering standards." If men who do not have an easy time with women focus on finding one girl who meets their standards instead of wasting time on a vanity fantasy of banging many women, they would have a much more satisfying life. This is why monogamy has been a net benefit to civilization. It helps women by prioritizing her long term benefit and limits the inernecine warfare between men for status and mates that squande…

Yes. Incels only resort to aspirations of monogamy after realizing they are destined to lose if they aspire to a harem. Any man can instantly level the playing field with the "Chads" by making long term mating his priority, as women will generally not accept being a side chick for the rest of their lives no matter how hot the guy is.

It's just a shorthand term for a man who is unremarkable except in his physical attractiveness to women. It was a meme to show that women are just as shallow as men when it comes to short term mating. It's important to understand that the central problem incels have is not that women engage in hookups or rank men according to desirability. It's that women generally don't fuck down unless their judgment is impaired by drugs or mental illness. The incel rages because in a democratic age his democr…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
