fair point there is the potential that it is the case by some biological level but culture pretty easily and obviously can supercede that, and I've yet to see evidence to the contrary. You're correct about that, was tired and not functioning at my best, so I didn't rank on the hierarchy of arguments as well as I ought to have since I figured you were just a rando who didnt really seem to care much about properly engaging in discourse and how to do so logically and ethically, thus making my effor…

Generally agree but your comment didn’t really make it clear that the idea is just speculation

Men are not naturally made to protect social roles are subjective and vary across cultures

“Submission” really op? So they aren’t real men is that why it’s bad? No it’s bad because of exploitation. Why are we making men conform to standards of independence here rather than objecting to classism.

I don’t think Palestine would agree with that. I detest the IDF and the state really but let’s be honest, it’s not like Palestinians as a group treat other Muslim sects or Christians within their nation very well. The Quran justifies and calls for a lot of group based violence, death for gay men, apostates, etc. Mohammed raped a 9yo and instructed his followers how to rape. It’s really not unreasonable to judge the group by the content of its vastly predominant religion’s infallible scriptures .…

Or it can start the other way around. Those people(neo-nazi’s) calling for more gender equality or less overt misogyny in the alt right or specifically neo-nazi spaces were being serious iirc. I wouldn’t be surprised, certainly isn’t out of the question.

Can you elaborate on that bit about tanking Japan’s economy?

As long as we are aware of it I think it significantly mitigates a lot harm to perceptions it may do, but I wonder if that’s adequate.

That lowkey sounds kinda like a homophobic caricature but I’m not sure, you were there and if it sounds like that to you I’ll let you say as much.

If he just ignored the comments it doesn't seem he can be convinced - however your intent should be to determine who between the two of you is right, not to convince the other person, if not then you'll never know when if you were right. However I can't seem to find what efforts you are referring too, can you elaborate?

Obv not, but I'm quite interested. can you elaborate on the educations system setting legal policies and self regulating them, as well as what functions of the state it assumes? edit: replying here bc for some reason I can’t reply back: Figured, thanks, and what aspects of the state does it assume?

Twitter encourages that kind of rhetoric, and while its frankly It's extremely selfish in terms of who has stakes in the outcome of this election to vote independent, and more so for RFK and most of all trump, "Obliterate their homes" as a response even if its meant to be extreme to get reaction rather than genuine is despicable. "They're all sexist". All of them. No room for exception there. honestly I'm stuck between rage at the intellectual laziness and misery tribalism causes and desperately…

I worry that you said as much in order to disingenuously give it more punch while still doing it for a moral cause. That's just my instinct and I don't think its based on anything in your comment, so make what you will of that, and let me know what you do. It does warrant punch however. Frankly though it should be taken that seriously - though this is advocating for terrorism, perhaps not serious it seems but it should be taken very seriously, as much as genuine threats provided it and similar c…

obviously speaks good enough english to have been hired, no need for ad hominem. regardless I think we're all missing the point of that this, and I'd be sure enough to say the majority of uses of male and female, are stand in's for men and women, therefore further entrenching the equation of multiple societies conflation of gender and sex, which in the end is the source of the problem.

Genocide towards what group? A few weeks ago a girl justified aborting people based on them having down syndrome to me (an autistic person) bc, and I quote "I do see how that is genocide, but they(her relative who did this) don't wanna take care of them there entire life" which isn't even inherently the case. Its seriously suggested that in the name of women's rights they get to choose what kinds of people are allowed to exist. I'd just like to say the idea alone, even without the praxis of it, …

People dont just leave relationships with people they’re attached too if that relationship shows signs or outright becomes abusive. They often still love their abusers, or are isolated and can’t leave.

Moreover recognize the subjectivity of both: the reason feminism has these issues and faults is bc it didn’t attempt to make the idea of a gender binary a thing of the past. Just to move women forward in some social and economic roles, among other things - none of which were ever about changing the norm so no one is discriminated against and especially judged in a social context for acting like the subjective categories of “fem”, “masc” or a combination of the two.

anything nowadays? fr? i mean the numbers may show that its roughly equivalent by gender but thats not bc the traditional narrative is false in that abuse doesn't happen frequently, its only false in that it happens far more to women by men. the truth of the matter is that its equal regardless of gender, but also reallyyyy fucking common. frankly its scary. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9682499/

Let’s not pat ourselves on the back for making it a rule, it is meaningless if we don’t rigorously enforce it not just from mods but to each other. However, everyone who doesn’t intend for it to be about a whole group and understands it’s nothing inherent to that group(excluding those which are defined by name on it) and don’t want to attack all of the group for the actions of some in the group, deserve to be able to be able to vent or discuss these things. It’s a fine line to walk. This kinda t…

There’s significant and well founded resentment among many of us here, and I worry about where that will lead us. We must be in control of that.

Look I’ve experienced people throw around this kinda terminology in order to attack people or ignore their own issues before. but I don’t think this is at all accurate even as hyperbole. It looks like a pity party and feels like it’s tiktokers parody of what incels think. Like what about this is wholesome kinda ruined my mood. Hope this gets taken down bc this sub is my one mostly decent place for dealing with misandry. This place gets it and I don’t want it to become like an uncle pity party. N…
