Not only that, but my main point in this post is the fact that women (at least in my country) aren't even capable of providing emotional support to OTHER women when they are in desperate need of it. When you put it that way, I think it makes a lot more sense. It seems like this particular subreddit really does paint all women as good for nothing since in most cases they're not even any better than men at the one thing that they're supposed to be biologically wired for. The reason that I think it's particularly problematic in Canada is due to my personal experiences which is a very long story that I can't get into now.

Perhaps you're right, since I'm sure that life was much harder for everyone back then and women only complained about it being harder because their opinions weren't valued or taken anywhere nearly as seriously as they are now.
