2	Response to the Economist. In my experience with robotics they are only as good as the programmers and operators that interact with them. We are long way off from self learning machines. 4	Response to the Economist. I think that this article is unfounded on the principle that blue collar work is going away. What I have seen that skilled labor has never been in more demand then it is now. I have some skills with electrical work and if I put an ad on Craigslist I am quickly swamped with work that I have to turn down as I only do it on the side. What's going away is the fast easy entrance into blue collar work via unions and apprenticeships.
