1	McDonalds manager whips blender at customer for throwing food Instigator still committed assault if the bag hit the employee and you are correct in that a court would probably say that a thrown blender and connecting exceeds the original act of throwing a bag of food. That I won't argue against. My point is that some people say they would have done this or that but you don't really know unless you are in that position (which I hope no one is ever put in). 3	McDonalds manager whips blender at customer for throwing food But what if the blender wasn’t thrown, could that customer have gone from throwing food to throwing other things at the employee? What would you do if you were the employee? It is very easy to watch this and say I wouldn’t have thrown a blender or I wouldn’t have done such and such.
