I’m less excited now.

….I feel like you just “liked” a picture on my Facebook from a decade ago, given then you found a buried comment in my post history…. Should I be honored or afraid……

dude if you post anything, anywhere on Reddit, that isn't at the very least egalitarian, no matter how true it is, you will get banned and/or downvoted to hell.

thats some irony right there.... you didnt match the groupthink on a sub about not matching the groupthink, and got denied.

I think there already has been death to Reddit for us old timers who were using it over a decade ago. It’s just becoming an echo chamber and propaganda machine, and it’s sadly just becoming a former of social media— meaning that people are just karma whoring rather than actually engaging

Interesting take. I never put that together. I’m sure you’re right.

I lost Count of the amount of bans I’ve gotten…. A lot from just posting on subs. Which seems to automatically ban you from other subs. It’s wild.

Accurate.

No way. That’s horrible. And then people end up in echo chambers, which then leads to them thinking their opinion is the worlds opinion, and actually being even less able to handle opposing views. Good job internet. You’ve becoming close minded. Despite being the internet.

Despite use of old.Reddit.com….. it’s a farce. You’re right. It’s a Reddit for gentle minds. I have a very old Reddit account but a few years ago ended up making this account, because you could find my other media profiles based on my Reddit handle—- and people on Reddit are no longer all internet bros, so I didn’t want to be open to the mob of offended people. I’ve also softened a lot on how I comment. It’s a sad de-evolution of the human species.

It has become SO ban heavy recently. It’s made it way less enjoyable on some subs. Basically you have to follow that subs narrative, otherwise be banned. What’s the point of the internet if not to have diverse opinions and views.

Dude Reddit has gotten so soft these recent years. And it’s so inconsistent…. what is “harassing” on one sub is totally fine in another. Sometimes I cannot figure out, at all, why comments get down voted.

Wow that’s savage…. Cause it was such a deep, undeniable roast. ….white knight mods to the rescue, I guess.

This may not be the most helpful advice ever, but I went from being an extremely fit, healthy individual to getting pregnant & having surgery that had me off my feet for 12 weeks... I gained 70 lb with our baby, and it totally messed up my self esteem. My body will literally never be the same. My husband had a very honest conversation with me that basically I had let myself go and didn't seem very concerned with it (this was a few months post baby) and that he did not think I was going to be hap…

Those menno moms are such an inspiration! We joined a mennonite community a few years back, and I always feel like I am lightyears behind all of the other ladies... how do they keep their homes so clean?! Edit: spelling

In fact, men generally won’t choose a woman based on a status at all.

I’m just envisioning my child wrapping themselves up and choking... I’m not sure this is the most sage advice

I’m sorry, I want to make sure I understand what you’re saying— you’re suggesting I put my kid on a leash on my child while I use the bathroom?

I finished school while married, and spent about 10 years total in career related moves before we started having children. I was making about $130,000/year before I ended up leaving most of my posts to focus on family. I'm now around $30k/year. No debt, and all of our assets were combined so I'm not sure if I could determine the net worth of them. We owned our home before we started having kids; have 2 cars, including 1 lease, that we do not own and make monthly payments on. I honestly could not…
