I have been where you are. My ex told me she wanted to go fuck young good looking guys (we were 35, together 18 years) and then come back and grow old together. Fuck that. She can grow old and depreciate. I have money and a house. Her condo was foreclosed on. You will come out better than her. We always do.

Twice mine got me, she said she wanted to get back together and it was just her having her heart broken and needed her ego stroked. Blocked her and her family everywhere after the 2nd one.

Try the menopause sub, the main reason for divorce is pretty evident there. “Mean me is the real me, the estrogen was hiding it.”

What would happen if wifi was jammed during times you wanted to be free of recording?

When she told me she didn’t want to waste the rest of her youth on me and wanted to go have sex with good looking men and come back in 15 years when we are 50 and retire together. 100% truth. Still haunts me today and it’s been 20 years since she said that.

My wife and I have seen a handful. The really good ones weren’t, but the lazy ones were. My main problem with the whole counseling profession is that the exercises are all female oriented. Even how they want you to talk is not how a man talks, but how a woman does. Fired my last counselor, told my wife I get what’s going on and I will give her what she needs and when she feels comfortable she can reciprocate. Worked well, got her in HRT which really made her personality, “softer.”

When I got divorced in 2006 after 18 years, I thought having a house would help with dating. Turned out almost every woman I dated had their own house. My first real serious relationship post divorce ended because I had a house with no equity, she wanted one for us together, and not the house my ex lived in. But since I couldn’t contribute on the down payment I got no say in the house.

My man, she cheated and you have to move on. You’re not friends, but adversaries. Push down your emotions about her, focus on yourself and prepare to get through the divorce and find someone who will want you, completely.

Sorry to hear that. My wife loves good self help books and found a really good perimenopause one and asked her to read it. That was the key for me. We then could talk about it once she accepted it was happening. If any other guys are out there facing this. Follow Dr Mary Claire Haver on IG and share some pertinent reels with your spouse. Follow the Menopause subreddit and you will understand they have lost their mind and are ok with that, that’s scary. Their biology changed so drastically that t…

Yes, it’s good. Hit a rough patch last year as perimenopause hit. Educated myself, fought her to get on HRT and fixed what she didn’t like in exchange for me getting what I wanted.

I divorced in 2005 (18 years together). Did not have sex or another relationship until 2007. Was lonely but had great friend group. This relationship ultimately didn’t work for me. Had 3 more LTRs up to 2011 when I met my current wife. Two of these I would have married but they weren’t ready for that. Being single and enjoying my friends as a single guy was great. Best part was having the house just my own way. I went on many dates, and thousands upon thousands of matches. It was like a job. I w…

If you really cared about new girl, you would only contact her to say goodbye because you now see that your life is in chaos and it would not be fair to bring that in her life.

She’s going to want to be a SAHM, then ditch you and take half your net worth.

She should have agreed to 50/50 and no child support.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
