Not having the right to vote while men do means that they were subordinate, lower in rank or position. While many women did not want the right to vote, that gives no credit to your argument. The post shows examples of how men are oppressed(and they are), but it does not mean that women are not oppressed as well. Denial of the right to vote is inherently oppressive. Women’s partners were decided for them and they raised the children how the husband wanted and had to take care of the house. That doesn’t mean they ruled it by any stretch.
