Sorry I missed your comment at first Physical Attractiveness is the Strongest Predictor of Initial Romantic Interest in Both Sexes; No Evidence big 5 Personality traits Plays Any Role for Women What if the most common tastes are the most advantageous for health and well-being of the species?

If by blackpilled subconscious you mean a focus on looks and genetics yea, not too big on the blackpill stuff due to its proximity with incels and whatnot. On internet dating spaces it depends here is probably better than most of reddit go into r/Tinder you’ll see an unattractive/below average person complaining about a lack of matches asking for advice and out of all the feedback given most often than not no comment will point out the elephant in the room that is looks. On the weight example my…

As to your question of why, I don’t think you need a solid concrete reason or if everyone’s answer is the same if something is a fact it should be known regardless of it’s inconvenience. I’m not suggesting you obsess over disadvantages but be aware, if you are severely handicapped in this department honestly analyse the impact it has on your dating prospects and even go as far as to acknowledge that perhaps dating is such an uphill battle for some that it’s obsolete.

But that’s the thing I don’t think we have as much autonomy over why we find what we find attractive at least that’s what the infant study suggests. I know I d didn’t choose to be sexually attracted to women just like how homosexuals don’t choose to be attracted to the same sex. Height is positively correlated with status cross culturally and temporally sure in our modern society relatively speaking we might overemphasise the importance of height but height being an attractive quality seems biol…

Yea it’s going to differ from person to person, if you have a legitimate bite issue you can likely get insurance to cover a decent portion.

You said that getting hung up over things like hit jaw height won’t help when it will granted invasive measures such as surgery or medical intervention can be utilised. It’s under appreciated in redpill and dating discourse.

It might just be a difference in ethics and values but in my opinion I believe medicine (and science) exists to better our lives as humans I see no reason for it to stop at curing or preventing disease, for example we know that shorter men even after controlling for SES are far more likely to commit suicide or earn less, why should a parent not want to choose their child to have a more favourable life circumstance.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/22 02:15 AM

Things like changing height are not realistic at this point however hair, medicine has come a long way there are effective medical and cosmetic treatments that can restore hair and we know from studies balding and being bald is a looks killer and a dating disadvantage.

Thanks for pointing it out, fairness is a human concept (and actually quite recent in history) it is not a law of nature or of our species, a lot of people moralise and idealise this into how they view dating and sexual dynamics.

Yea but what pool are you competing with? Are you competing with 40-50 year old overweight men or 20-27 year olds. Pick out a location that is representative of your demographic not the general public.

The gender ratio skews depending on the app, but obviously it exists even then it’s going to have implications of the potential pool of potential suitors if most are finding there way through OLD. Obviously you should keep other options open but not having OLD as a viable option slashes your prospects significantly.

youth, health, fitness, thick head of hair, bright eyes, nice smile/teeth These are general indicators of youth and good health (except for bright eyes) that are universally attractive in our species. However, there are dimorphic qualities too aka men tend to be taller and have leaner bodies and broader shoulders that are universally seen as attractive same with women and their waist to hop ratio.

I mean don’t we all want to have some evidence backing in life. It’s the reason why sane people don’t dump all their money in gambling thinking they’ll be the one in a hundred thousand to make it rich. Why not do the same for dating, it’s a probability game there’s no reason why predictable dating dynamics shouldn’t be measurable by the scientific method.

Tribes were communistic? Do you really believe that there weren’t strict hierarchies within tribes, violent intra-specific competition between tribes? If they were truly egalitarian and communistic how do you explain the skew in the X and Y chromosomes that reveal about half as many males than females reproduced. Or archeological findings of hunter gatherers that show violence, warefare and likely territorial dispute.

I obviously can’t be 100% sure I was friends/mutual acquaintances sort of thing wasn’t awfully close but they never dated in Highschool mostly studious types even the white girls though they were smart and not dumbasses but in general they seemed a lot more open to dating during school.

With those type of people from watching them I’ve realized it’s often just genuinely lack of self awareness. They think they can handle a monogamous relationship until they get in one. The more perceptive types usually figure out after a relationship or two that monogamy isn’t for them I think I can agree on that aspect, that does make sense, personally speaking if I was in a relationship and simply unable to commit I would rather break up then cheat but not everyone has the gall to do that who …
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/22 12:07 PM
13

If you are so unsure about engaging in a monogamous relationship, fearing as whether or not you are able to commit to it you shouldn’t do it because it’s a two way street and if you cheat you’ve intentionally hurt the other person that is 100% on you. If you want to go find yourself and “seek out your sexuality” casual sex and hookups exist for that.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/22 12:01 PM
13

Even then if they engage in a monogamous relationship, fail to communicate that they want sex/relationships outside of it and have sex with other partners they break the trust between them and their partner the onus is still on them.

I don’t know how to answer this other than biology I guess? I want intimacy both sexual and emotional, it’s a basic animal drive that’s wired into all sexually reproductive species it’s normal.

That's why I don't understand why the men here think the casual sex guy is somehow super hot. Hard disagree biology is a foundation for with culture and societal norms are built on (sprinkle a bit of history too). The assertion that human sexual behaviour isn’t comparable to any animal is a bold claim we are animals no more disconnected from our biology as any other socialisation can’t change that. Also the idea that most of human history only some women were given dating power of false, this power dynamic of men seizing reproductive say from women is a fact but it only occurred during c…

I was specifically referring to the next generation of one tribe using an extreme hypothetical to get my point across. Even if this did happen in reality tribes intermingle all the time it’s not like said tribe would reproduce with each other for the next thousand years incestously.

Completely disregards the fact that men built civilisations on the heaping piles of corpses of young men and women enjoyed the safety of it. Stop with this bullshit most men throughout history have been second class citizens unless they were royalty or nobility. Nice ad hom, I’m not bitter, I felt like writing a post and I did. Why would I fight in a war if I know I will be forced to die for being being born the wrong sex? You still haven’t justified it.

Bingo, but modern discourse and academia have totally opposite views, rejects the gender roles assigned to men and women as social constructs of patriarchy not stemming from a biological reality. Right now it’s “women can do what men can do if not better” until it applies to hard and shitty aspects of life then the script flips. Humans are a dimorphic species, incomplete without the other half, males and females will never be equal they are complementary to one another. My post was referring to …

The frontline battle rules applies to past when men and women had seperate roles that were clearly defined, that isn’t the case anymore or at least that’s what society is tending towards. Most young women 18-27 don’t have kids or married why aren’t they sent off to war? The ownership of women was a post agricultural civilisation occurrence. Humans have been hunter gatherers for most of our existence and that is where we get our excess of female ancestors, you say women have had it worse I’m not …

You’re comparing the survival instinct of men when they are drowning vs actual policy that was put into place when decided who essentially dies and who gets to live. Of course any human or animal has a survival instinct when they are drowning in the water but policy wise it has always been the strategical move to savour the lives of women than men and even if I grant you this about maritime disasters the vast majority of warfare disagrees, yes men make better soliders but why does that exclude w…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 04:31 AM
3

This is specifically about maritime disasters I was talking about wars and nationwide conflicts, surging from a sinking ship is purely instinct based (protocol aside) it’s everyone scurrying to get air. This doesn’t change my point that males have always been prone to dying through violence and conflict dating back to the dawn of our species (hunter gaterers), early civilisations like the Greeks or even modern war.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 04:03 AM
2

Depends on what you mean by disasters, it was the rule for shipwrecks like the titanic, it’s been timeless throughout virtually every human war. Maybe for natural disasters I could see that but not in conflict.

/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 02:44 AM

That still doesn’t expect why men are blocked from leaving the country and forced to fight, if a country wants to pretend to be gender neutral this rule cannot be applied unilaterally when things go south.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 01:39 AM
7

Why are men expected to fight and die for freedom but not women?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 01:29 AM
2

If you want to know a bit more of this phenomena search up ‘Batemans principle’
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 01:23 AM
1

Nature guarantees a close to 50/50 chances of offspring (it is ever so slightly skewed to females but it’s negligible). The number comes from the fact that males across species are way less likely to survive childhood, adolescence and survive till adulthood and even if they do survive they still have to compete in a harsh sexual selection criteria whereas a female that has reached adulthood is almost guaranteed to reproduce.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 01:22 AM
13

Women who won’t bear children and be housewives for the future generation don’t deserve to have men fight and die for their lives. What a shitty double standard.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 01:17 AM
17

Cool story, but they don’t get to fucking choose to run away anymore isn’t that my point?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 01:07 AM
3

I think so too. It’ll be the like the baby boomers all over again, traditional roles would be prioritised men would work har flavour jobs to re-build infrastructure in a war torn country, women would have to bear a lot of children to make up for the population loss etc. it’s present in every human civilisation post-war.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 01:06 AM
29

It’s ok they have their thoughts and prayers, and maybe 30 years later there’ll be a really cool looking war memorial with their names carved in.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 01:04 AM
3

I agree with that sentiment in principle but in practice it’s not feasible, the draft makes sense from a practical perspective if a country is invaded they should have a way to mobilise a large military force in a short notice. Abolishment of the draft is not possible as long as a the possibility of war looms over and this is coming from someone who would be the first to dodge the draft or desert at any given opportunity.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 01:02 AM
4

This is a reoccurring theme I’m seeing, equality only applies to when it’s beneficial towards me.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 12:54 AM
3

What's the alternative? I guess don't fight and see what happens. Except this is my point, men don’t get to make that choice it’s stripped away from them whereas you do. Why doesn’t gender equality get factored into this? And if it doesn’t why should women enjoy the liberties earned by the blood of men forced to die for them?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 12:53 AM
2

biology isn’t fair Except this isn’t even about biology a 25 year old in shape woman is more capable than 55 year old male lard ass but who gets conscripted in this scenario?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 12:50 AM
2

Why should men have to lay down their lives for a net benefit? If it were a proven fact that women should be stay at home mums by the age of 25 and it is a a net benefit, do you think people would be on board with that? Fuck no. If that’s the case why should a man be stripped of his liberty and forced to die for an obscure net benefit that he’ll never get to see because he’s fucking food for the worms.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 12:46 AM

Strong enough to write off legislation for men to die, not strong enough to do it themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 12:36 AM

Fantastic fucking logic there mate, so I assume if Germany went there to war under their female former prime minister women will get conscripted because the country is headed by a female leader. Oh wait, only men will be sent to war
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 12:35 AM

It was an extreme analogy but my point was a single female life is more valuable to a populations or species chances reproductive success than a single males life.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 12:29 AM
9

Yup this was my main point, not many people are actively engaging with it though. I could’ve driven the point further but I feel like MRA’s have and it’s beating a dead horse at this point but here goes. Women want equal representation in STEM fields but they don’t want equal representation in construction and hard labour because all of a sudden biology applies there. Women want full control of their reproductive rights but a man has no say in whether or not he gets to opt out for 18 years of ch…

If Norway and Sweden engaged in all out war do you think both men and women would be sent into war? I was thinking of bringing this up, the reason why womens rights to vote took long to be legalised was that to vote you had to have been able to be drafted either for military conscription or for other civil services such as firefighters etc. Not an American but I believe this was a constitutional issue, and the sticking point as to why women couldn’t vote was the fact that they couldn’t be drafted, feminist movements pushed hard for the right to vote but not for the draft, they essentially got …

Female rulers have started wars throughout history, England is an example. And even if I grant that the majority of wars are instigated by men, it doesn’t mean that the entire male sex should be obliged to fight and die in war.

I brought up the 17:1 thing to debunk it, I said it existed due to wealth and power imbalances. Look further up, I should have worded it better but chromosomal analysis reveals that the X chromosome (maternal) has a lot more variability than the Y (paternal) chromosome, we have roughly twice as many female ancestors than male ancestors according to genetics.

I didn’t say they were a full fledged western country but that they’ve been adopted the values of one over time and they certainly are a liberal democracy, they’ve been in the EU since 2014?

I thought I highlighted it, the killing is inescapable it stems from competition of resources and exists throughout the animal kingdom and drives survival and evolution of a species.

Facially yea I think he could be a 5.5 but in reality his short small and scrawny build holds him back.

Watch the video too he’s also really small physically as well he has the frame/build of a prepubescent boy.

She also detracts a decent amount of points for bad hair and hairstyle. Always been my suspicion women really care about hair a lot (aka I have no hope).

I would love to flip on the “off switch” and become completely asexual with no desire of a partner but unfortunately I cannot ignore millions of years of hardwiring and biology. OP is crazy if she thinks hordes of men are just going to leave the dating pool and live fulfilling lives.

I would live my normal life and have a good social life especially in my youth it was destroyed by various illnesses I would do anything to get that time back I feel like I’ve missed out on a lot of my formational years and left me worse off.

I would say more sexist but this includes for both genders.

Too much nuance for this sub not enough gender wars.

Yea I get that, that’s why I said it doesn’t fit the definition of immutable as by definition something that is immutable means that you had no control of it “past, present or future”.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/22 02:00 AM

I think when he says immutable he means once it’s high/past a certain threshold there’s nothing you can do to reverse it or bring it down, even if that’s not what immutable is supposed to mean.

r/dating is full with young inexperienced people and older people that are out of touch with modern dating. r/dating_advice is pure dogshit that won’t get you anywhere unless you’re socially retarded and most posters there are out of touch with dating anyways. r/seduction is full of redpill incels in denial that have somehow deluded themselves that they can somehow “generate attraction” with a woman through mind games and linguistics completely ignoring the fact that they are bald manlet genetic…

So you got respectfully rejected by one dude took it like a normal human being and now think that’s the experience if the bottom % of men?

List would only be complete if the mens section specified “over 6’ only teehee”

But the thing is a guy to look good at a lower body fat percentage unless you’re blessed by ungodly proportions and genetics you need to work your ass out to fill in muscle and size whereas most women just need to be around 20% body fat and somewhat “toned” ideally for like 90% of men to want to hit.

All that matters is maintenance calories vs how many calories you’re eating, once you’ve lost the weight al you have to do is eat at maintenance, exercise just makes you burn more and also tones muscle to make you look less fat.

Exercise isn’t…? Yea unless you’re elderly and your joints don’t work out I don’t see why not.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
