Agreed, and that's why it would make more sense just to shut it all down at the same down. /r/niceguys and /r/inceltears should be left up, so that dudes can understand what they are doing wrong, and to get with the program already.

This is an article from 2013 but is applicable to the year 1013 or the year 13 AD. Sex has always been the domain of women in one way or the other, it's just hyper everything these days. It's funny how the article says that men can feel worthless. I think that's true for many. Even though I fit the bill of having some sexual worth (at least 6 foot tall, physically enough on offer), I've felt having no worth, and ashamed for having sexual desire. For example, go on dates or chat online and start …

Exactly. I made a huge mistake installing a bunch of dopey dating apps and acting like a dope on them. It's all a waste of time. Exercise, reading, working out in the garden... it's just time better spent and it doesn't foster feelings of resentment.

You are welcome! And if you goal is to attract women, don't be too eager and nice. It turns them off, but they will put up with it if they are in locking in resource mode (marriage).

Well, I guess that will make it even easier for those with dissenting viewpoints to be tracked geographically, and monitored. Then again, the whole thing is a philosophy, it really shouldn't be a movement, especially a political one. If it leads to alt-right dudes marching in the streets, and I think that it has with Proud Boys, I'm going to stop visiting online forums that associate themselves with all this. MGTOW1 - lot of dudes are true MAGA supporters. I try to distance myself from all polit…

My views are fairly jaded on love and empathy. Love is a term people use on one another to get each other to stick around a bit longer, that is, once the dopamine levels associated with initial feelings of love wear off. I recently read that men actually produce higher levels of dopamine (proportionally) than women do. Empathy... hmmmm. I have a lot of empathy for other dudes, especially those that have been disadvantaged by height or personality due to their psychological background. They have …

It has been suggested when the original subreddit shuts down, they will all come here. I think if the first sub shuts down, they will shut this one down simultaneously. For me, I dunno, I've gotten my use out of all of this online waxing of mgtow ideas and musings. If it all shuts down I'll be ok with that and just move onto the next philosophy that makes sense.

Just google Steve Jobs and narcissism. It is actually a trait that many captains of industry have. https://medium.com/@3DA0KM/steve-jobs-was-an-atrocious-bully-and-narcissist-and-these-are-good-examples-of-how-to-intimidate-e24553ccd38c MGTOW is a funny term. Everyone ascribes people and actions to it. I just think it means not giving a crap about forming long lasting relationships and avoiding child rearing / birthing. Kind of like what "THOTS" do. Maybe THOTS are WGTOW.

I view him more as a narcissist lacking empathy, a manipulator of those around him. He had some good ideas here and there, but it was mostly AppliedWozniak early on, and then it was just a consumer cult. Guess I'm in the Bill Burr camp on this one.

When I discovered all of this, I was on the original mgtow forum quite a bit. Posted here and there, read all the posts and a lot of "literature". It just made me angry. At one point, some young guy started a subforum MTHW, men that hate women. Straight up misogyny. I went through some severe rage, and as a result, lashed out quite a bit online. It also led down a path of self destruction. I'm better now, and working on picking up the pieces one by one. It's easy to hate entire groups, or say th…
