I don't think it would be your height. I'm just under 5'8 and was opened by girls regularly on dating sites (I'll admit, not all quality, but some were). I didn't open girls much due to me wanting to avoid using dating sites as a crutch; but even with the "set it and leave it" approach I took with online dating, I still had regular lays from it as a "short guy".

It's obvious that these people see themselves on the side of the spectrum that succumbs to these instant gratifications and meaningless activities. They are just hamstering why their poor choices are justified in their own minds instead of taking responsibility to change.

Move on. I think it is pretty clear what is happening here (as other comments have highlighted). If you haven't already, re-read what you posted, remove yourself emotionally from it, and it is blatantly obvious how bad this situation looks. Having friends of the opposite sex is fine in an LTR (in my opinion, not everyone here would agree), however a line is set in place when you do engage in an LTR with someone. Inviting a former FWB over to their place is WELL over that line. If she had any res…

This article is over the top and stupid. No one actually subscribes to the idea she is proposing. I didn't see a single comment supporting this from both men or women. Just ignore.

She expressed regret and apologized because she wanted to move beyond this absolutely childish situation that YOU perpetuated. She is being the bigger, more mature person and you look like a little child. You aren't gaining any respect from her by you acting this way, you're only losing it. If you're willing to turn something like that into a battle then you're in for a drama filled relationship, all caused by you. Frankly, I'd be embarrassed with myself if I acted as you did... And to come and …

Just let this one go and learn from this mistake. Don't get too drunk. I've done many cringe worthy things in the past with girls while too drunk. It happens. Just exercise more self control next time and don't beat yourself up too much over it. Abundance mentality.

I've found in LTRs, my girlfriend typically pursue sex with me as much (and sometimes even more) as I do. Even after the 3+ year mark. I have never had to deal with a dead bedroom scenario. I honestly believe the dead bedroom is the product of a man getting too comfortable in his relationship and becoming complacent.

You don't even need that. Just proper training and diet. In a year and a bit of lifting, I went from 150 pounds at 5'7 to 170 pounds at low body fat.

I disagree. I am 5'7. I kick boxed with a girl who was 6'0. She saw me at a club one night, she approached me, we talked for a while and I took her home. On the cab ride home she said she "never goes for shorter guys". I've been with other women taller than me as well. Even my current LTR, who is only 5'1 said she has always told herself that she never would end up with a short guy... I really can't enforce this idea enough. Don't let height insecurities affect you based on what women say. What …

Probably because you're fucking girls you don't have any real legitimate connection with. Once you manage to click with someone, you likely won't have this problem. Just think of it as having high standards in what a person needs to bring to the table in order to stick around.

In response to a poster saying the fact she lied is a huge red flag, someone responds: "A lot of women can't articulate, even to themselves, what the problem is in situations like these. If she doesn't consciously understand it, how can she explain it to him?" What is there in this scenario that goes beyond basic understanding? She gave out her number to random dudes... Most epic hamster?

My strategy with tinder and online dating in general is not to over invest in it. I typically only respond to girls that open me first. While I understand it likely means a lot of missed opportunities, I just simply don't care to put in the effort for tinder/online dating. I prefer to work on my game in a live setting. Over investing in tinder/online dating will force you to get lazy when it comes to improving your approaching skills. If it is a girl I am attracted to, I can usually get a phone …

Stop trying to find the easy way out. Life doesn't work like that for 99.99% of people. Drug dealers and "losers" do well with women because they have a high level of confidence and a lifestyle that can add excitement to a woman's life. By no means should you aspire to be like this. You need to figure out why you are lazy. Is it biological? Do you eat well, have healthy testosterone levels, sleep enough, avoid drugs/alcohol? Did you grow up with no work ethic? If you want success, you have to wo…

It really isn't that bad (speaking as someone who is 5'8). Cunts are always the most vocal so you can't really take this as a reflective view of the masses.

It's really not your height that is the issue. I am around the same height as you and do just fine. I am in really good shape, wear proper fitting clothes and just don't even acknowledge my height as a problem. I don't even have great game yet. Just look your best with what you have, and make the improvements in the areas you can. At 5'7, you're still taller, or as tall as most women. I have been with women that are 6 feet tall who claimed "they never go for shorter guys". Attraction is subconsc…

Saying "lets grab a coffee" is more of a formality. A lot of times I don't actually drink a coffee when I meet a girl at a coffee shop (as I try to avoid caffeine in the evening). It just serves as a decent environment to talk and get to know the person.

If that is the case it can't really hold much weight. Almost every girl states that they "don't like the asshole type" when asked. Their actions speak differently. In my experience this has applied to both women who are big into partying and also highly intellectual girls who live a more "wholesome" lifestyle. I think a lot of times women will claim they don't like assholes because they are good at rationalizing in their minds that the guy isn't an asshole. You see it all the time. A woman is se…

Focus on making yourself more attractive with what you have available. Take good care of your body. Stop eating shitty food. Get healthy and exercise. Learn about what hair suits you (ask a stylist for suggestions if you don't know). Learn how to use make up well. You're unlikely to find a lot of detail on how to up your appearance from a group of guys. We know what we like; however we don't really know or care about the intricacies of putting on make up, doing hair and bringing it all together.…

My philosophy for LTRs and situations like these is simply: "if she is going to cheat, she is going to cheat". If she is devoted to you she won't fuck around on you. Sheltering her from opportunities to cheat all the time is Only going to delay the inevitable (if she has it in her to cheat) and Make you look insecure Just think of it as free time to do your own shit with your friends. Take it as a positive.

I prefer grabbing a drink as a first date. It's casual, it's easy to wrap things up if things aren't going well, and allows for easy conversation. The anxiety comes from you having expectations. Just be chill, treat it like having a casual conversation with anyone. Any pre-date jitters I have (which through experience has become minimal) usually go away once the initial minute or two of conversation has passed. Repetition is key. I remember doing my first OKCupid date and how fucking nervous and…

I agree. We can hand-pick anecdotes all day from Google searches that justify RedPill ideology as it pertains to women's behavior... But honestly, feminists can do the same in regards to their claims. We should be better than this. We shouldn't be diluting RedPill's quality content.

Alcohol makes things way worse for me. I often times end up hooking up when I am really inebriated; but with women I would consider well below my normal standards. I definitely lose self control when I drink a lot. Fortunately; I don't really drink often so this isn't much of an issue... Maybe a few times a year. If I am consuming alcohol, I find I have a much better time if I limit myself to 2-3 drinks at most over the course of the night.

I rarely go to bars. I am pretty disciplined with my life schedule. I go to bed early as I get up early to lift. The bar scene in my city doesn't even start picking up until 11pm - 12am, which is usually past the time I am in bed. I find my lays through people I know, day game, and online. Picking up drunk bar sluts isn't the only way to get laid.

Your view of it seems a little bit conspiracy theory-ish. I think it is more related to the fact that TRP goes against the grain of what is considered politically correct and normalized in today's culture.

I agree with this. I have always been an incredibly guarded person. I usually never talk about my emotions in relationships on my own accord, even in my BP days. I did make the error of consciously trying to express emotions in LTRs in response to being called 'cold', 'a wall', 'robotic'. I have been called this in all three of my LTRs (4 year, 4 year, and 1 year). I have been told that I am "hard to connect with emotionally because I have difficulty showing weakness". I noticed that even in mak…

It seems your biggest problem is that you're blaming others for your issues. The reality of the situation is YOU are the only variable you have control of and that you can change. It is YOUR responsibility to adapt to the culture and way things are and find means to be happy and fulfilled despite the imperfections. Part of being a mentally strong man is NOT letting everything else have such a detriment on your happiness. Until you rid yourself of this shitty line of thinking and word view, you w…

I played hockey for 18+ years growing up. I can confirm the vast disparity in skill across genders. We would always have exhibition games against girls teams that were 3-4 years older than us (which is a big difference in physical development during early to mid teens). We would absolutely crush female teams. I could skate circles around them and at any point skate down the ice and score. It was a joke. On a side note; they were some of the dirtiest players. They would constantly trip people, sl…

If she is pretty vanilla in the dating game as you state, her behaviour sounds more in line with just being overly nervous. If she lacks experience, she may not have the social competence to communicate she is interested. There may be some potential here. I'd try to get another date/hangout. If she is resistant to that just let it go.

I have three. Myself in a suit at a hotel about to leave for a wedding. Smiling. There are people in the background of this one. Myself in a tux at a different wedding during the ceremony that is mostly just a shot of my head. Pretty emotionless expression. No one else in this one. A picture from the side of me just in a t-shirt, unshaven/scruffy, and messy hair, smiling (older pic that actually shows my pre-lifting arms that are about half the size that they are now). For the most part, I think the article is pretty reasonable and rational. If it is indeed true that women only get one chance while men get multiple opportunities, then I would have to agree that it is an actual legitimate case for gender discrimination. However, I do think that if she was truly ambitious, she would have pushed herself to meet the male standards, despite it not being a requirement. The standards set for women only serve as a minimum baseline and by no means restrict women from p…

The high fat content the butter provides is great for keeping you full and gives you energy without having to consume food in the morning. If you mix in MCT or just coconut oil with the butter you can amplify that effect further. It is said this also helps get you into ketosis faster. Ketosis, coupled with the reduced calorie intake (due to the fat filling you up) is excellent for weight loss. I can't speak much to how this plays into building muscle mass (where reducing food intake can be detri…

I used to play a lot of games. I would never considered myself as a "basement dweller" as luckily I was raised playing a lot of sports in addition to my gaming habits. But gaming definitely consumed a lot of my free time. What really got me away from it was becoming fully absorbed in self-improvement. As I started allocating my time to self-improvement, obviously, I had less time for gaming. Gaming is an addiction. Just like any addictive drug, withdrawing yourself from the drug takes it hold on…

I'm 5"7. It's mostly a mental state. When I am really on my game and conveying confidence it hasn't really had an impact on me in a negative way. I have managed to pick up girls that are 6" tall. Funny enough; I distinctly remember on the cab ride to my place from the bar one of them commented "I usually don't go after shorter guys". It kind of put things into perspective for me... I remember when I was in grade 1; my teacher called my mother to voice her concerns about me drawing scenes of tanks, military planes, and soldiers in class when we were told to draw things. My mom's response to her was: "What do you expect? His father is in the military and he is a boy. What do you want him to draw? Flowers?" This was around 1990.

Possibly. I am significantly more confident and articulate when I am well rested. When I am tired I tend to be pretty quiet; even around male friends. This is even the case when alcohol isn't involved and I am just not sleeping as much as I should.

The cognitive dissonance is so rampant with women you can't really buy into that. I'm not tall, 5'7, but have slept with taller women before (up to 6')... I have even been told "I usually don't go for shorter guys" on the way home after picking up a much taller girl. What they think they want doesn't really align with who they will actually be attracted to and willing to fuck . It's all about the interaction you have with them. Agreed. Too many posts about isolated incidences in which a female has wronged a male; whether they be news articles, or posts in other subreddits. These posts ultimately turn into a circlejerk of "I told you so's". More self improvement focused topics / discussion are needed.

I think what you're asking for is pretty unreasonable. If you aren't in a monogamous relationship, you can't really hold this expectation. The fact that you even care if she sleeps with other people really means you like this girl more than just someone to fuck. Either go exclusive or be willing to accept she will be with other dudes. She will pull the 'unfair' or double standards card, and she is justified in doing so.

They aren't doing it because it makes them happy; they are doing it because the desired result (ie: banging the girl) would make them happy. They have been told all their lives that doing these things for women will make them want to sleep with them. It is simply a path to frustration with women... Not happiness.

I hate when criticisms of the paleo diet are focused around attacking the direct validity of the food choices the diet condones vs what people of the paleolithic era actually ate. It really needs to be given a new name so people can focus more on the science behind the food choices and less about the history. Unless it is absolutely not an option just go to a gym. All the free weights are set up for you, the machines allow you to diversify a lot more, and being at the gym keeps you motivated to work out longer. Working out at home makes it more likely you will get distracted by things or come up with excuses why you should cut the workout a bit short.
