I assumed the other two guys were butt buddies

I love the fucking ballet. Also, ballet dancers are eager to spend time with dudes with jobs that aren't gay and aren't in the industry. Their feet are disgusting, though!

Did you ever see the Umbrellas of Cherbourg? Very RP; beautiful chick hypergamously leaves hard-working beta nice guy for an even richer beta provider, even though she is pregnant with Guy #1's kid: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Umbrellas_of_Cherbourg#Plot Edit: It's not a ballet, but it is a gay-ass musical movie.

I lost 42 lbs from 189 to 147. I'm not that tall, so people occasionally pass me in a hallway or on the street and not even recognize me. Best thing that I ever did in my entire life.

I was out with her Sunday night and I said that Asians are great because their butts stay firmer longer and there is less backtalk. She disagreed on the backtalk thing. She's probably thinking of entitled suburban girls and not the climbers that came here broke to go to college and then became career girls in Manhattan. Those are out actively looking for marriage. There was this one Chinese girl from NYU. First date in my neighborhood restaurant [blue pilll dayz; cringe] where I usually eat like…

I know! That was my $70k job. It's like this is the level where they feel comfortable just having you sit around in some shitty cubicle in the middle of the building to be used 'as needed'. I got really depressed for a long time because it didn't feel like I was doing any real work but the salary was high enough (and I had student loans) that I didn't want to leave it.

What I don't understand is why the ugly ones don't marry up fast to an older guy, realizing that their only asset at that point is their youth. If they wait, they'll just be older and ugly. But that's what they do, and occasionally some betas will slum it for a night and run.

Also you could hit up the Permian Basin (Midland-Odessa region) and get involved in the fracking going on there. I keep hearing all these stories about unskilled laborers being able to gross $80k before taxes annually in Midland. Then again, you'd pay a lot for housing, due to the shortage.

Texas is amazing, dude. Grab on to an opportunity in Houston or Dallas if you can. Austin has a lot of shit going on that's fun, as well. It is so different than Philly. My experience on the east coast has been not very meritocratic, but in TX it truly is about how much money you can bring in and how much value you can demonstrate and claim for yourself. If I were moving anywhere else, it would be Houston, Dallas, or Austin.

I met a Korean girl at church and she surprised me by asking me to tie her up and slap her. Jackpot until we both got bored and she wanted something more LTR/marriage-oriented.

Was she in fact a Muslin? Or the Muslim world thing was a fun fact?

Heheh. The dude looks like Donkey Lips from "Salute Your Shorts". Edit: But serisouly, this guy is a total faggle. I'm not sure if the Stolen Valor Act is a federal law, but it is/should be illegal to impersonate soldiers to grab a piece of the benefits society confers upon them (consideration for jobs, gina tingles, etc.).

but mostly because I don’t have a choice - my natural hair is limp and rubbish and doesn’t grow far past my shoulders without turning into witchy rat-tails. Come the revolution, societal mores concerning female beauty must be changed in such a way that the author will be considered attractive.

I guess. Just wouldn't seem worth it in the long term for me. If I had to choose between 70k in NYC and 50k in TX, you might actually have a higher quality of life in Texas. In a small NYC apartment you windup eating out a lot more, which was like $30 to $40 a day for me.

Holy shit, the bus stop thing is funny. Reminds me of 'Dirty Work' and the movie line.

I know, right! Seriously though, God has poured blessings into my life and I'll be the first to say that I don't deserve it. I know there are a lot of changes that I need to make to be the man worthy of the stuff God has given me. We are all privileged here in that we live in America, the UK, Australia, or Western Europe and have the internet and the level of income such that we have the time to fuck around on Reddit.

To live in Manhattan you need to make 40x your monthly rent, or no one south of W 116 or south of E96th will want to rent to you. Google the 'bankrate.com cost of living calculator' which is pretty good for thos comparisons. I was making 70k and just barely scraping by on the upper east side. It was rough. One thing, though, is that a lot of companies are off-loading shared service type activities (corporate admin, HR, payroll, HIPAA compliance, etc.) to low-cost areas like Pennsylvania and only…

Totally. Very entitled HR people that think they are in some position to qualify you for 'their' job. I have 6 years of ivy and I was "negotiating" with a fat (found her photo on LinkedIn) woman in HR in flyover country with literally maybe 2 years of community college education, according to her LinkedIn profile. Clarifying: my actual manager is a man. I would not work for a woman. Been there, won't do it again.

I don't want to list my degree because it's very specific and not widespread...I suck at accounting stuff though. I'd just say Big 4 for internships? Is that still a thing? I have no idea.

Learn financial modeling. If you can build a Excel-based revenue model based on various income scenarios for any type of enterprise--and do decent DCF modeling--you can get $65 to $70k right out of undergrad if you interview well and look professional. At least on the U.S. East Coast. You just need to network hard and exhaust all the connections of your peer group, university alums, recent grads/summer internships, etc. Definitely load up on the internships that can vouch for you later. [Having …

Thanks! I don't want to give too many details and dox myself, but it's a state gov't job far away from Manhattan. I'm single with no kids, so when the opportunity came up, I was able to grab it. I've been working a year since grad school, so it's not that fresh, I guess. Sandinista De Blasio getting 75% of the vote in NYC for Mayor really clenched it for me that I don't see myself here much longer.

Edwin Edwards--former Governor of Louisiana, in federal pen for racketeering--married a young girl that wrote to him in prison. She was about 50 years younger than him. His previous wife was 30 years younger than him.

Age is a weapon society uses against women. No words...solipsism, attribution of agency to non-subject actors, and it goes on and on.

Been there, though without the wedding part. What a ho.
