Only you know if she's worth it. If you do decide to keep her around as an LTR, then usually you do have to show some beta qualities. From my experience, the longer you keep a girl around the more she requires comfort to make her think she's getting somewhere with you and advancing the relationship.

Really great comment. The part where you mention oneitis not being about the girl and it being about your ego was something I didn't consider. It's almost like being alpha widowed but for men. In your opinion, does our oneitis for a woman compare to a woman getting alpha widowed? And can the same tactics women use that cause us to catch oneitis be used against them to make them be widowed/have oneitis for us?

The point of my post is to see what I'm doing wrong and what to do next time I'm faced with this situation. Great post! There's a lot here to take away and I wholeheartedly agree with your last paragraph. I feel like I'm one of the few guys here who doesn't have a problem being attached to a plate/LTR. After being depressed and void of any emotion for years, I enjoy the rush of emotions that come with being attached to a woman. I know that at some point it will come to an end and I'm prepared for that, but it's nice to feel and not be an emotionless robot.

You know what you have to do. You mention that you gave up porn, alcohol, drugs, and video games before. Do it again. I lift for about 2 hours every day and I'm getting to the point where my physique could be considered muscular instead of just lean. I've been looking into getting into MMA and there's a gym near me that teaches Muay Thai and BJJ. However, I have absolutely zero experience with MMA and I'm not even sure if BJJ and Muay Thai are what I would want to do. Which martial arts would you recommend?

What I've come to do from a similar situation is I will somewhat fantasize about a particular woman that I'm around or planning to approach. From things like what her tits/ass look like naked, what I would do to her, etc. This makes me somewhat worked up and able to freely express my sexual desire when I do approach her. Plus it's fun and somewhat of an in when she catches you staring at her ass and eye contact is made.

For the most part I do, but most of the time the person who I give it back to acts like they're offended when I only say something similar to what they said and do it with a joking smile. They get upset and pissy and I come out feeling like everyone else around takes that person's side.
