How To Stop Feeling Tired (if you're always tired as fuck, then none of the self-improvement material in the world will be enough - get your energy levels on lock first!)cutting out coffee late in the day Thanks for that reminder. It's so easy to forget that a cup of coffee at 3PM might still have lingering effects when you are trying to sleep. | /r/TheRedPill | 24/02/17 12:54 AM
What do you do when you have an eight month old and can't just leave the house to lift/hobby when you're turned down for sex?You pick the time you initiate, so don't initiate if you are going to have to sit there and pretend like everything is ok if you get turned down. Do Daddy time, then initiate after he goes to bed. If you get turned down you can go read a book, practice a foreign language, go for a run, or just go to bed. Try initiating in the morning, then you can fuck off to work if she turns you down. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 24/02/17 12:39 AM
How do you manage a newborn in the house? At some point it stops being about your wife and starts to be about you. I'd rather live in my own space and have a quiet and uninterrupted sleep. I'd be more productive that way and it would be easier to pursue my goals. Constantly being around does nothing to increase her attraction in any event. I wouldn't spend all my time out there, but if I choose to fuck off for an hour and play a video game, it's out of sight, out of mind. If I take my son down to hang out, she won't be around the corner… | /r/askMRP | 21/06/16 02:56 AM
| -7 | How do you manage a newborn in the house? She doesn't have frame, she's just stubborn. Frame would be that stubbornness combined with the strength and motivation to do something about it, and she lacks the second part. In the past, I'd just let her run her head into the brick wall until she figured it out, forgot about it or gave up, but that's not really as much of a possibility right now. Letting her get to the breaking point on childcare just wouldn't be healthy for her or our child. Same goes for letting her just sit in the house un… | /r/askMRP | 20/06/16 11:25 PM |
BillsHave you read, When I Say No, I Feel Guilty yet? Don't DEER - Defend, Evade, Explain, Rationalize. It seems counterintuitive, but defending what you are doing just makes you seem weaker. It lends credibility to her desire to manage you. Honestly you should just make the whole bill paying process a black box to her. If she asks about the bills, use the technique known as Broken Record. Example: Her: "Did you pay the gas bill?" You: "Don't worry, I've got the bills handled." Her: "But the gas bill… | /r/askMRP | 20/06/16 11:09 PM
How do you manage a newborn in the house?I'm not really having trouble with taking my son to go do something. Or course my wife can try to sabotage it by controlling the milk supply, but generally that just shoots herself in the foot. The cosleeping is already happening, it's kinda tough. He tends to make noise if he's in the bassinet and my wife gets all worked up if he's in the other room. I fought that battle in the beginning, but at the end of the day we all needed sleep and it was a concession to practicality. There's just no way … | /r/askMRP | 20/06/16 10:38 PM
How do you manage a newborn in the house? If you stay healthy and keep lifting she won't want to just fall by the wayside Previously, this has been an issue. It doesn't really seem to click in my wife's head that she needs to or can change. The only real options have seemed to be overt communication or dread levels I don't really like repeating. | /r/askMRP | 20/06/16 08:56 PM
Mid-nuke & cluelessIt's her mom that enables it. You are afraid to nuke her behavior in public and in front of her mom. She knows it, so you'll can expect a full broadside every time her mom is around. My wife used to pull this shit too, until I just started shutting it down in front of her mom. Just be strategic about it and don't press the issue until you are 100% sure you can win. If your wife has angry meltdowns in public, then don't take her to the side. Let her have the meltdown in front of everyone then pub… | /r/askMRP | 20/06/16 08:29 PM
Current state of my relationshipI'd suggest you change the playing field. The default should be that you are out and about, busy and unavailable. This is covert communication and it's important to do a slow fade. Just start reducing your availability until you are almost never home. Sleep in another room (the baby keeps waking up) or better yet, take your son with you to go do stuff. Then when you show up for dinner and she starts bitching, you can throw up your hands, say "Well I tried, but I'm not going to sit here if you ar… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 18/06/16 08:38 PM
