I heard Superlux is a decent and cheap brand of microphones. Around 30 dollars and gets a damn good job done for the price. Also, soundcards/interfaces aren't that expensive. Cheaper ones from brands like M-Audio, Focusrite or Presonus seem to be pretty decent. You can get studio grade quality and the 2 in 2 out ones are enough for a start. If one plans to have more microphones later on, then get a bigger one with more inputs.

Pareto's Principle was originally about economics. Only in the 20fh century was it transferred to other stuff. PP stated that 20% of causes have 80% effects and 20% people owned 80% wealth in Italy back then.

You don't explain feelings. You act aloof and advance by demonstrating your interest without mentioning feelings... By touching and teasing. Otherwise, it's a losing proposition.

You just don't want to be at the bottom. You might wake up in the middle of the night, alone in bed, and start thinking about people who have more financial freedom than you. They don't have to spend money they or their parents earned on food, they can spend it on entertainment of any sort. Sometimes, you end up crying as you can not suppress the emotion, the lack of ability to move up a social ladder, even if you did a lot of things "the right way". Then you work harder and recieve no reward. B…

This one sentence right here is worth much more than tomes upon tomes of stuff I have read. Willingness to learn from anyone and to apply a critical stance toward everything is thr mark of a real, efficient, ever-improving man.

If you didn't fuckup with breaking your frame (equal, polite, same team) before AND if you don't break the frame under his usual spiel - he will start to react to you. I really liked this. The "equal, polite, same team" is a nice frame to have in general.

I love the tone some of these recent posts have. Accepting everything around you, and not getting emotional over anything, is a ticket for both a long and a happy life, if the elderly I have talked to were right.

All women are the same. As are men. We are animals, contrary to what you would like to believe. The only thing that sets us apart from other animal species is our brain, our mind and our capability of abstract thinking (as far as we know for now). When it coms to "real relationships", if you have any kind of animals near your place of residence, check their mating rituals. Cats are a good one. Caloing this childish snake oil bullshit is flat-out wrong. Shit works just as he described. I hope you…

Girls will hang around you, position themselves close, or outright open you if they feel like doing so. If they are desperate, they will make innuendos. This means they will want to remain in contact with you. Not many, true. Honestly, your posts sound more and more desperate. Go read. Read "The inner game of tennis". Get genuine. Find your strengths and use that knowledge. Also, there is some more constructive criticism in the topic. Go read it, stop debating with everyone, try and apply/do wha…

I am no star player or anything but I think you should set your priorities straight. Each and every post you did talked about how many numbers you got right off the bat. One can read your eagerness in these lines. It is the same way with people you meet. If you approach someone, do so without any pretense. Yeah, sounds impossible. But it is more than possible. Just expect nothing. If you do, you're still in the transactional paradigm, which is not how this works.

He's the owner, he has people working for him. He offers them money for their time so that he doesn't have to spend his own time there. Laughable or not, this is how it works.

A simple google search will tell you much more than I can in a couple of minutes. In short, he is responsible for building the mainstream media to the thought control machine it is today. Also, a number of other successful campaigns. Wikipedia has a nice summary. Some of his work, like Engineering Consent, is a read pretty similar to dystopias of various sorts.

That strategy was there before CIA and JFK. Two words: Edward Bernays. And I am certain knowledge about stuff was there but was relegated to places like golf and similar clubs.

Yes, we had God and the Church. And now we have the dollar and malls. Just walk around a mall and check people out. You will see devotion.

Don't you think it would have been harder for you to understand back then owing to the fact you were younger and highly likely under the impression of the mainstream media? You were born in the 60s, so I can see your generation having traces of oldschool ways but what I found interesting is that blue propaganda began earlier.

Theory and practice... There is no clear winner, they can only work together. So stop debating whether one or the other is better and spend your time in a more productive way.

Axe has a nice line of Eau de Toilette. Cheap and effective, I'd go for Tobacco & Amber or Cocoa and Amber, depending on your location. This one outperforms much pricier colognes.

Just compare the ingredients lists in cheapo and pricier toothpaste (works for shampoo and deodorant and cologne too) and I'm certain you'll find more or less the same stuff. I know I found a "professional" product and a store brand one with the same ingredient list other than the smell, one had more lemon, the other had more synthetics (probably some musk molecule). The difference in price: 2 vs 4 dollars for the same size. You're paying DOUBLE for marketing. Or, in other words, you're financin…

Dude, just browse fragrantica. Off the top of my head, ones not mentioned above: Paco Rabanne One Million = Zara Man Uomo Paco Rabanne Invictus = Zara Seoul, Man Blue Spirit, Denim Couture Pour Homme. Either. Seoul is the closest one. If you want something that's similar to or a mix of the two, but different, then try Zara Black. Gucci Guilty Pour Homme = Zara Man Silver Paco Rabanne Black XS = Zara Man Gold, Zara Gold Issey Miyake Nuit d'Issey = Zara Homme Night II (there's also III and I but I…

Zara has awesome scents. Not pricey and they do their job well. Here's an idea for beginners: Want something serious? 7.0 Want something sensual? 9.0 (very close to Valentino Uomo and Dior Homme), Gourmand Leather (JPG Ultra Male) Want something fresh? Vibrant Leather (very close to Creed Aventus) Want something clean and useful for everyday? Aromatic Future (very close to Dior Sauvage) Yes, they might be cheap so you'll have your doubts but these work like a charm and cover most, if not all, in…

You said it, we are animals and we can not control ourselves. Some people, those who call themselves alpha or are living on a constant egotrip (comparable to the CC), will do as programmed by nature and/or the dominant discourse here and call anyone with a differing opinion out, which is just what feminism does too. Convoluted but funny, isn't it?

I find Dan Bilzerian's pictures too staged. Like a movie or so. It's inauthentic. That said, social media is good because you can get information other media purposefully omit, as well as some closed group information, say, if you are in college. Posting your own life? Sure, just not everything. If you are sparse with your posts, people don't see you as an open book and usually shut up when you speak in person. After all, everyone's FB page is a highlight reel, so you are just competing for othe…

You have to be in a certain state for it to work. The entire thing is staged so that people get in a trance like state. Derren Brown did an interesting documentary on it, check it out. The name I do not recall.

I am in constant monk mode, with the occasional step off the beaten path in case of raw attraction. I'm still an animal. It is not so much that I do not want to pursue women, it is that they are more likely to come if I do not actively pursue them. Same thing with grades... less effort equals better grades and better retention, that is, better results. This is me, though. I like efficiency. I don't like societal norms. I hate unnecessary overcomplication.

This is true. I've done a ton of work in a certain field and I feel pretty damn confident in my abilities, but the joy is largely gone, sadly.
