Thing is I am busy during the day - I'm travelling. The only difference is that a few weeks ago when I'd find wifi to use google maps id reply to her, and now I'm just focusing on my day and replying in the evening. This should work, so I'm not sure why it isn't. I know she misses me, I'm just worried that my distance will make her less interested.

I think it is a valid area for TRP to advise on; LTR apart over the summer is distinct from LDR.

It isn't 'oneitis' to believe there is more value in the intellectual stimulation of one relationship compared to 2 months of other hot women.

Thanks for the advice. How dyu think I should respond if she apologizes?

I responded with: 'The rest of the week wont work for me, maybe another time.' Decent?

lol, exactly how it went. I do like this, my only problem is that she's suggested (albeit insincerely) later this week etc and I'm sure that I'm gonna see her around in the coming months. Would a polite 'Sure, no problem' be less effective?

I just don't think I reply that to someone who is deep in my social circle

Well personally I like to lead with my name: 'Hi I'm ____ nice to meet you'. It sounds simple because it is, but I think it's harder to connect with most girls before you know each other's names. In addition names make flirting far easier. The friend situation is difficult, but if you're confident in the girls attraction or interest in you then simply say something like 'Sorry we were about to have a really personal chat, do you mind?' And the friend will probably, if she's fun and not jealous, …

Thanks, that's good advice. I do worry though that by being aloof I can end up becoming marginalized in the conversation, and then the eye contact becomes difficult because I'm not being acknowledged enough.

He was until recently yeah. I mean in terms of getting laid with girls we meet. It's just throws me off when he does the whole complimenting thing.

Okay so while I probably wont be doing the masturbation marathon, I have had nights out where I'll go up to everyone to numb the feeling of rejection, and I will keep doing this as it seems like the best way forward. About the girl in question, I should have forced a decision by leaning in, oh well I'll do what people have advised and increase SMV and wait for her to come to me. A question about the 'be a dick' part, how do you toe the line between being a dick and coming across as arrogant (the…

This makes a lot of sense- I would never have met this girl (she's too young for me to feel comfortable doing anything with) and besides I don't think I would ever meet a girl from tinder unless they were 9 or 10. Perhaps the lack of an end in view meant I was just trolling

I was going for the whole 'I don't care what people think, I'm my own guy and other people have to deal with it' although I could have worded it better. How should I have dealt with the 'you're such an asshole' shittest (assuming it was a shittest and not just anger), since agreeing and amplifying didn't work

Fair, it just seemed so weird how aggro she got so quickly. Like in 10 messages it's gone from her saying how fit I am to her taking it back and calling me an asshole. When did the arrogance stop being attractive and become asshole-ish

Okay despite this being fairly harsh on a newbie what you've said is extremely useful. Basically bottom line is leave it with this girl and go flirt with her friends and other girls. Maybe she'll come back, probably not, but just forget her. I am slightly confused by this though. You say something about the driving being like borrowing her money to pay for the coffee. I didn't pay for her coffee on this date, only my own, under the principle i've read on here that you never buy drinks for girls.…
