So the guy broke out of, then back into prison twice to rape her in the park? Despicable.

Been a while since I read up on it, but I think it satisfies some sort of ritualistic need to draw blood as a covenant to god. Really not sure.

Some forms of FGM are comparable to MGM. People generally think infibulation when FGM is mentioned, but it can be as simple as a pin prick. Still wrong though.

Here's the first thing I found while searching the interwebs: I do not touch when I first meet her. I just give her a big smile and say hi and say something casual or funny. Then we just sit down and start talking like we’re already old friends. A lot of guys immediately hug women on a first date like this. If you haven’t already met her in real life, not only do I think that’s fake, I think it actually makes a lot of women more nervous, not less. (By the way, never shake a woman’s hand on a dat…

Hey man, I just gotta say thanks, everything I've learned about women, from women, has been counter productive. It seems like only 'creepy' things have gotten me results. A lot more failure than success of course. But the odds are against me to begin with.

...Solanas, perhaps the only truly honest feminism out of the entire lot of them... Seems like a little Freudian slip revealing that the author sees no difference between a feminist and feminism.

I guess it depends on how you define abuse. If they didn't let you eat fruit loops before you went to bed thats one thing, but if the neglect, physical, emotional or sexual abuse was quantifiable then I think that would count as a breach of parental contract. As for your point about obligations, don't you think we're born into a large set of obligations to begin with? I don't honestly think that my suggestion would be the best option, but at least I'm throwing some ideas around. When common sens…

Maybe have it so that grown kids have to pay parental support to a parent in need if the kid has enough money and that parent either raised them or paid reasonable child support.

There's a culture that makes many jobs riskier than they should be. Real men don't need safety equipment. But even with a helmet, gloves, and steeltoes; I nearly lost my hand to a conveyor belt one week, and nearly took a falling board to the head the next. Many traditionally male jobs are inherently risky, especially for inexperienced workers. That's why I chose IT in the end. Now I just have to worry about lung cancer from toner and heavy metal poisoning from solder.

the leaders of the femnist movement have been, one bull dyke with deep rooted gender issues and a transparent hatred for the opposite sex after another. I can't take you seriously when you spew shit like that.

| some of them seem to direct their anger more towards women then feminism or other harmfull institutions. This is what perturbs me, the idea that feminism can be simply dismissed as a "harmful institution". Sure, there are some crazy ass Separatist feminists and other groups that are entirely off the rails; but seriously, if our rhetoric becomes just as hate filled and phobia motivated as theirs then our messages will be equally dismissed. By declaring war on feminism it is likely that will ali…

| The point being that although we could all play the victim blame the matriarchy, to some degree we have to get over ourselves. Indeed, just as the most vitriolic forms of feminism lay the blame on women's woes soley at the feet of men, it seems as if many MRA's wish to return the blame with interest. We individuals are doing it together. Although men and women each have our respective gender cages, it is not men that cage women and vice versa; rather, we step into the cages ourselves or we are…

Thanks. I just skimmed through Hollander's site, apparently he wants bar drinks to cost the same for men and women, and he doesn't like women and gender studies. I don't know, I have to get back to coding.

Look at the title of the blog: ANTI FEMINISM&MEN RIGHTS ISRAEL. It obviously has everything to do with mens rights. And what's up with the "baberepublic.com" advertisement? Is davidcohen188 making money off this link?

If you take a look at the pdf which appears to be the sole source for the study, you will see that although women are largely responsible for emotional abuse and neglect, the majority of sexual and physical abuses are attributed to men.

Maybe she was trying to prove a point. By becoming an example of someone who belongs on a sex crime/domestic abuse database, she may seek to demonstrate the need for one.

The most Androphobic lady I've known was always talking of 'the goddess'. It kind of made me wonder if perhaps she was angry at a man and was talking it out an all men.

no, don't point that out! Now we are less justified in expressing our anger against this misandric monster who falsely put him in there! That bitch should be made as retired as this man is now!

For the sake of my own wiener-sheath, I'd appreciate if you elaborated upon the justification of your brothers surgery. Was it somehow preventable? Additionally, I must state that I found your derision of /r/mensrights quite humourous. For FGM to be equivalent to MC, then the procedure would probably mean the removal of the clitoral hood. The goal of traditional genital modification appears to be the reduction of sexual pleasure. Since women don't need to orgasm to concieve, then female genital …

Well, I could see the humour in it. And the commenters on the blog could as well. So it is not funny to you. The joke wasn't written for you or me (assuming you have balls), and neither was the blog post. If you cannot see the equivalence of the two examples I posted, then I can only reason that you are blinded by a gender bias. And thanks for all the down-votes, I guess my comments add nothing to the conversation. Either that or people don't follow reddiquette around here.
/r/MensRights06/12/09 06:19 PM

Both of the jokes are in poor taste. But the joke isn't about the man or his pain, it is about the struggles that women typically go through when reporting a rape.
/r/MensRights06/12/09 05:45 AM

Here's a comedic extract from the blog: So. In addition to what AngryYoungFemme has already pointed out about the whole “personal bodily autonomy” thing, how’s about this gem: “Embarrassed by the situation, Mr. Clark didn’t go to the police until nearly four weeks after the attack.” Really? You mean, after his attack, the gentleman didn’t immediately come forward and report this alleged abuse? He didn’t complete an intrusive “exam” before bathing? I mean, honestly, how can we know for sure that …
/r/MensRights06/12/09 12:03 AM

I would feel justification for outrage if the blog comments were anything worse than some of the trash found in this thread.
