Not trying to hijack the thread, but how do all the women who say they would prefer a beta son reconcile that with the pervasive understanding that women frequently lose interest (especially sexual interest) in beta types? This is one of the main observed phenomenons that spawned the RP movement.

So what? I understand this sentiment if your 16 and just had first heartbreak but otherwise, your admitting to living your life like a scared little boy. If you don’t want intimacy for other reasons than fine, but if it’s because your scared of (emotional) pain you’re a being a coward.

lol this comment sucks. pre-marriage and post-marriage are differentiated times, regardless of gender. you must be 15 or incel.

>how is a man going to respect a woman like that long term? Because it was before marriage, during younger years and before marriage? Because guys were doing the same thing? Because marriage is entering into something that is (supposed to be) mutually beneficial with some strings attached? Randomly judging someone's past to justify their own infidelity, wtf?

True true, and you’re cool with your girlfriend looking at other dudes and wanting what she wants right?

I can definitely relate. Especially to over analyzing her behaviors, comparing against her past, what her motives are, etc. I don’t want to be the naive idiot I once was, but also hate I’m super cynical now and doubt any good intentions as genuine. I found some good writing that is more balanced at thepowermoves.com. Helped me calm my mind and just accept certain things.

Best thing guys can do is try to be the whole package.

Nothing wrong with increasingly valuing stability as someone gets older, male or female. guys like to have women around just to sleep with in their 20s too based more on physical attraction. its not a gender thing, more of an age thing. If the stability is the only thing that she really likes, then yes thats a problem. there should be elements of the younger relationships in addition to the stability in the later relationships.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
