Her mother always seemed really down to earth and a nice person I hope that's not the case. My brother said he's keeping my neice of school this week so she can avoid her and he can try and come up with a suitable course of action. The biggest concern is just making sure he or my sister in law don't go to the door in flames and make things worse they are both understandably pissed.

It breaks my heart that I have witnessed this personally once knew a man who was accused of rape (it is my shame to admit I also believed it at first) but details kept coming out and was proven he was innocent however even now years later there are loads of people who still claim he did it 'cause most rapists get away with it anyway" he ended up having to move away

I remember I seen a report about a woman who falsely accused a man of attacking her and stealing from her and when it was proven false all was good. Fast forward a month or two and apparently the girls trying to sue the guy because basically she was ostracized after it (rightfully so) and she held him responsible for causing emotional trauma even though she is the one who lied. I hope it's not true bit the way things are going it wouldn't surprise me

A colleague of mine actually put up a post saying it was revolting and must be hard for that girls family seeing so many man haters using what happened to her to force there agenda and within minutes he was accused of victim blaming, misogyny, gaslighting, and other assorted shite just because he said her family wouldn't appreciate it
