This! Every time i make great gains, and pat myself on the back, I'm slapped in the face by reality and realize I'm not as far as I thought. I rub my cheek with a dark grin, thanking fate for breaking my complacency and reminding me to stay awake and to always keep growing.

Dude, your contribution here has hit me in the feels. I'm watching this from the sidelines trying to internalize vicariously but this shit and how you expressed it, kicked me in the ass and helped sink it in. Thanks.

Keto man here. What you say is true. I am more aggressive and energetic and ambitious because of it.

There's more motivation behind this, than trying to understand people's attitudes. He wants to sue the guy who broke his jaw. Be honest with yourself OP. If it ain't to chase your aggressor, then it's the validation of your 'friends' that you're after. Focus on you.

Abundance mentality defines your subconscious motivations. It determines your aproach, and women will pick up on that. If you have nothing else going for you, well your gonna try too hard or trip up.

Give it your best. If universe collapses, we'll cross that bridge when we get there. For now, strive for greatness and immortality.

I'm 8 months in and i catch myself all the time. Just as i think I've got a handle on things, i get a wakeup call and realize I'm not nearly as awake as i thought. Humility is a strength. Realizing that your muscles aren't as big as they look in the mirror is fine. So long as you lift. Lift! But lift for you, not her. That last part is my trap. I keep slipping on OI. But I'm aware of it, and push through.

This! Even with a masterful tone, a reply demonstrates butthurt. For arguments sake, at best it feeds her. Just go distant. She deserves as much of your energy as she's willing to offer of hers. I'm only figuring this out now.

Mod has a point, but I'm leaning with Bruce_Jenner here on this one. She isn't free of any fault, but she followed his example. They sprung a leak and now the captain is on damage control. Get more buckets, and get down in there and start bailing water. She'll join you down in the grime. Pretty soon, it won't look so bad and you'll be cruisin' in bikini and speedos on the poopdeck in no time. Edit: typo

Wall of text was a great read. Thanks for the [FR] and an awesome expression of humility. I have courage to fail.

It's a montra here @MRP that you never reject sex from your wife/LTR. Unless it's starfish. But I have to say, this could be a solid exception. You shared your perspective on rejection and offered her a hint of empathy on the matter. I would suggest that this holds as a one time thing however. Saying no, imprints the image of a man that is sexualy inadequate. She will hamster the rejection and bounce the issue back onto you. (He's not man enough). I've been having trouble keeping up with the hug…

It ran it's course from December through to March. Solid and hard. Even today, there are days when I slip up. But a switch went off early April. I realized the value of owning my shit and taking responsibility for my path. I see the face in the image as a more assertive expression. Accepting this new mindset and stomping on the old skin that I'm slowly shedding away... everyday. Edit: March misspell

I'm upvoting you on this one. I get what your saying. It stinks of 'you go gurl!' And i understand the risk of it spilling over into a flood of mickey mouse nonsence. My angle is that, it's okay to be silly and have a beer once in a while. I think we're still strong enough as a community to handle this. This effort illustrated the respect my friend has for me. He stepped into my frame by putting energy into something i introduced him to. He's seen massive gains on my part and wanted to share a h…

Not too many like minded men out there. It's certainly nice to have someone to discuss TRP/MRP theory with. I thought it was cool and wanted to share with the community.

I am not sure how ro take it. I'm realizing either way, that i should adopt fightclub rule #1 from now on. Morpheus: The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you're inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we…

These are statistics based on todays blue pill world. I'm implementing MRP, which resembles more of an old school approach. I'm going more with how successful the old world was in marriage and avoiding the more modern pitfalls that TV propaganda has taught and twisted us into. We're here trying to change or sick and unhealthy culture. I agree with your statistics and how they demonstrate how I'll we've become add a society. I'm breaking away from the pattern, and returning to the red pill world.…

I wouldn't categorize it so much as restriction/allowance mindset, but rather as opportunity based. You could explain the wonderful things that lifting can do for a man, but no one quite gets it until they actually do it. I'm not saying marriage is the best for everyone. But I will argue that the benefits can outweigh the risks and costs. Being married isn't a state of being. It's a circumstance. I didn't just get to that status and then smile cause I'm 'Done'. It's a challenge and its hard. Lik…

And I couldn't see redpill until I hit rock bottom. Doesn't mean it wasn't there. This ain't MRP, it's TRP. Maybe I should remember the first rule about MRP?

I was being fecetious brah. You know, agree and amplify? Hey, maybe I was being a little bitch, getting all defensive about you challenging my idea about getting married and throwing my life away. Or maybe I hit a nerve when I suggested you should open your mind a little and challenge your paradigm. (Shrug) Either way, you can stand up for yourself and I admire that. Hi5 for standing your ground and telling me to piss off. I'll concede that this is TRP and not MRP. So by default you hold a highe…

Bigger the risk, bigger the reward. Skydiving may not be your thing. It's dangerous and you could lose everything. You're probably right. Best you avoid the scary things in life. You're right, YOU shouldn't jump out of a plane. And marriage probably ain't safe for YOU. It has been my greatest adventure though. Just saying.

As men, we don't do things because they are easy. Lifting weights is hard. It also feels good and is very rewarding.

Awesome. Don't be too ambitious about number count. Trick here is to just sit & write every night. It'll slowly become part of who you are. Reddit.com/r/writing Reddit.com/r/wordcount Word count was instrumental for me!

Dude, I'm not stirring to cause trouble here, or waist anyones time. I've been focused on MRP 'cause it fits for me and TRP is just not quite my vibe. If my post is not cool or diminishes this subreddit, then I understand and am cool with the mods killing it and Flaming me. What MRP had taught me, is to be strong enough to explore my feelings and even strive to express them. Especially the hard ones. I'm going through a lot of changes and the responses that I've read here have been therapeutic f…

I wanted to skateboard when I was a kid. Gave up cause it was hard. Always regretted that. Last summer, my teen daughter got into the idea. So I saw a chance to fix one of my flaws. At 37, I dove in head first and learned to make my own board and made some for the kids. Very rewarding. http://imgur.com/a/LCKNH

I'm a noob here, but wanted to agree with this sentiment. Do your best to grow as an individual, while owning your shit. If you feel responsible for the state of your marriage, then get your shit together and give your best effort to improve it. If it's too far gone, well then so be it. But at least you can look back and know you did your best. Besides, even if it fails... imagine what you will learn from the pitfalls. Jumping into something new and fresh, down the road, ain't gonna guarantee sm…

I've already responded to this question a few days ago. I think I've softened my positron a little. After reading "The way of the superior man", I've come to realize that analytical and logical discussion on this matter will serve to upset her. (Read chapter 20) Don't get me wrong. I still believe in transparency. I just have to understand and respect that women work from an emotional center. A man's approach might feel cold and clinical. This works for us when we need to deal with our own shit,…

This question has popped up for me, as recently as this week. My wife knows I'm doing this, and that I'm waking up. But I've been slow and clumsy in my growth. This has caused her stress and doubt at times. Although a normal process for any textbook couple, it's by that standard that I suggest my pronounced stumblings. She is threatened by this of course, but I've maintained transparency throughout the entire process. (This is not a throwaway account) This certainly makes gaming more difficult, …

I believe he's on the right track. But your right, her disrespect and his reactions demonstrates that they are still early in the process. There are some good positives here.
