How many women will be alone in a bar anyways? Most of the time you're gonna have to adress multiple people so you don't seem creepy

Excuses bro. I've been telling myself the same shit. The thing is by approaching and talking to women you can build those skills, you don't have to bring anyone home. Talking to people is the goal, not fucking women or getting a girlfriend. Just talk to women and stop limiting your life based on these bullshit excuses. And honestly I'm typing this out to myself more than anything

Bro im copying this to my phone so I can read it before going out. This is some battle speech inspirational shit right here, makes me wanna get out of bed and start talking to people lol. I agree with everything you said man, just put yourself out there, it will be uncomfortable but it's the only way to get better. I appreciate you man, especially with the loads of negativity on this sub. Thanks

Yeah it would probably make more sense to do it when your done with your workout, then you can just bail if things get awkward. But I'd say doing things in the moment is always best, sitting through a workout waiting for the right time will just put you in a anxious headapace. And starting a conversation is actually pretty simple. I'm not saying it's easy but it isn't complicated. The thing is, most approaches have more to do with your body language than what you actually say. You could literall…

Bro you have already invested way too much into this by making a post about. You're just overthinking it

I mean men shit test eachother too. Busting someone's balls at work is basically testing them out to see how they react.

Yeah man, I dont think sex has ever been just sex for me I've had one night stands and a few FWB situations but I think what I was really chasing was intimacy, I just wanna be close with somebody and sometimes the quickest way to do that is hooking up with a stranger. But it's so superficial that it feels hollow, still fun af but it just doesnt seem sustainable. Sex is great and fun but its 100× better when it's with someone you care about, as cliche and corny as that sounds

Thanks again. Solid advice. And yeah, I know intentions should deff be clear from the get go.

You know, that's pretty much what I was thinking. Just nice to get a second opinion. Thanks man. Imma hit her up right now. Now if you don't mind giving abit more advice. It should def be super casual right, like just a few drinks at a bar, maybe walk the park, grab a slice. Not like a full blown date?

Okay. That makes sense.

I would consider escalating to be a form of flirting. What is your definition of flirting?

That must be the dude from the bar lol

Well if you're sharing class or club that's great opportunity to build some rapport/flirt a little. Just introduce yourself. Then eventually just ask her out for coffee or something casual after class. "Hey I know this great coffee place down the road, I'm going after class, you should join me." Or "I'm going out for drinks later, you should come with." That way it doesn't really put her on the spot, and since you're "already going" it's not really a big deal if she says no.

Right. Intentions should be clear from the get go. She should know you're interested. I feel like people use this "playing hard to get" as an excuse to themselves sometimes to not initiate. If you build attraction and then back off a little it can cause her to start chasing but if you don't have that foundation then she's not even thinking about you.

So do you meditate in the bath or do you sit for a while and get out to meditate?

I like these tips. I lm usually pretty laid back i think people seem to feel at ease around me. Ive definitely noticed how people, especially women will feed off whatever energy youre giving out and reciprocate with a similar energy. But i still have a hard time talking with the owners of the company i work at. Ive realised its not that im intimidated by them like it was when i started but they just have a weird high sprung anxious energy. Its almost like theyre at the brink of just cussing you …

Go to the bar. Restaurant is too formal, puts a different pressure on the date. If you guys get hungry maybe pop in somewhere but a bar is perfect for flirting. Also be careful trying to use other girls friends to fuck them and be careful fucking around with a group of friends. Sounds kinda slimey and it will probably end up going bad.

I would hit her up and build some rapport and then get her number so you can text her. If she agrees then you pretty much know whats up and you can ask her on a date.

I don't agree. To me it seems most women are much more insecure than men. They def have contradicting beliefs that they are special snowflakes yet they also compare themselves to others constantly and use things like instagram for positive reinforcement because they need that for their self esteem. So women aren't really fine, hence feminism and trying to take power away from men. I understand what sub I'm on but I think most guys are being pussys when they say that men have it harder than women…

Holy shit. Thank you for that. I've had a lot of trouble with this recently. I know where my faults lie and I want to change them but like you said I still want to accept myself and be okay with who I am. Damn. Really looking at changing a habit as self love rather than thinking your a shitty person for having bad habits is mind blowing. I've never thought of it that way. This really has changed my perspective and I think is a much healthier way to approach self improvement. Honestly man I may b…

But having kids and getting married are much different. The reason people here say not to marry are because its much harder to end a marriage than a LTR, the woman has much more power in a marriage than in LTR. and many other reasons that have to do with basically just the legal consequences of marriage. TRP isnt againt LTR's, that comes down to choice but they are against marriage(for the most part) because they change the dynamic of the relationship into the womans favor. Having kids is a comp…

I would argue that finding someone as awesome is directly linked to their parents. You can definitely tell when you meet someone who was raised properly or grew up with healthy adult influences. Awesome people dont always have awesome parents but shitty people always have shitty parents. Dont get me wrong i dont want to have kids myself but thats just because i dont see myself ever wanting to be that responsible for another human, could change though. I also understand the completely negatives a…

For instsance, Bill Hicks and George Carlin. They made extremely important points about the bullshit in our society. But they did it in a way that took away the harshness of the truth, by using humor as their medium.

Messy cars are red flags too, men and women. Basically, people should take care of their shit.

This also seems to be true for girls with extremely unnatural hair coloration. Whether it's the girls with the really contrasting highlights/lowlights or the girls with pink or purple hair. I think there is something inherently wrong with our society in the fact that woman are constantly trying to change the natural way they exist.

That's true. The one good thing about her is her absolute devotion to my brother. His SMV is pretty damn high, and hers is probably in the negatives. Which is the reason I think he is with her. He knows she will never hurt him, because she knows she will NEVER do better than him. I just wish he realized he could do much, much better.

Yes. And the really bad thing is that she will get it done professionally at a salon and within a week change it herself with some walmart bought box color.

This describes my brothers (newly pregnant) wife to a T. besides the plastic surgery, but I'm almost positive she will have something done when she gets older. But she keeps her hair short and will wear extensions or really ugly wigs from time to time. And her hair does not stay the same color for longer than a month. One thing though, instead of ugly friends she has zero friends. Well, her only friend is my brothers best friend's girlfriend and vice versa, they are only "best" friends because t…

This reminds me of my Ex, multiple times we went out to a party or out to eat she would point out a guy that she had either dated, fucked or the guy was once one of her beta orbiters. When I finally mentioned how often she did this she got all pissed and said if I loved her I should be able to accept her past and her talking about it. Beta me at the time agreed with her. So glad I found TRP.

What he is saying is that the hamstering is her rationalizing him doing something completely inappropriate at work simply because shes attracted to him. If she wasn't attracted to him the hamster wheel would spin the opposite direction and what he did would be extremely creepy, repulsive, inappropriate and probably catch a sexual assault charge. He wasn't saying that the "serious talk" was the hamstering. It was a product of the hamstering.
