It sucks to be given advice that sounds like, 'it's over man, move on." but just like most of us here, some of our biggest regret was dragging the inevitable when we could have just used that time to re-build ourselves and heal.

All the answers are great but how and who will be the force to bring about those changes? Nothing. It will get worse and reach an even clown-world levels of bullshit. Maybe some sort of war or other calamity might occur which will then bring about some kind of balance in the system. I.e, women suddenly deferring to men for protection and feminism will be nothing but a time in history where women decides to act all goofy and mighty.

Yea, I guess humans are wired this way. Women will come to the aid of a woman. Men will come to the aid of a woman. No one’s gonna give a shit about you if you’re a man.

Just find solace in the fact that while it’s easier for women to get dates and attain a man, it’s not that easy for her to retain him. Especially the men that she really wants in the long term cos those men got options. Not sure if that’s suppose to make you feel better though.

Usually women would have checked out of the relationship mentally 3-6months before telling the men.

Damn dude. That shit was rough. I don’t condone violence but I understand why some men chose that.

I can never forget the day my ex went out to get drinks with another guy while I was just home watching tv on the couch. I got lucky as we were still renting. I packed up my shit and noped the fuck out of there. That shit evoked feelings out of me that I didn’t know was there. Never wanna be in that situation again.

Watch FreshnFit on YouTube. People say that the girls they bring on aren’t representative of most girls, but from my experience, most of the girls that you meet online are just as entitled.

No experience with this at all but in your state, will you be on the hook for her medical expenses? How many years of alimony?

First off, acknowledge that being a man is tough. You life will be hard so we need to get used to grinding. Get a proper education(useful degree) or learn a trade. Have some income and make sure you make time for the gym as well. You can give up or you can rise above all these challenges that are laid in front of you.

I’m beginning to think that us men having a better argument will not in anyway change anything when the other side do not play by those same rules.

Because it’s one of the truths where it will only hit you in the face when you’ve been through the court system. Good luck trying to de-program single and young men.

It’s a messed up world. Tiger woods got himself an iron clad contract and put his money in a trust, but yet the girl he was dating is still suing him. What a clown world we live in.

Yea, young women on IG are more popular than famous athletes simply for existing. So, imagine enjoying various privileges like getting shit and traveling for free, people giving you attention wherever you ago…etc And having all that taken from you once you get older and realizing that you have nothing to fallback to since you’ve never actually had to work hard to earn those things you got for free. It’s harsh. The smart ones knew when to cash those chips when they peak i.e ‘settled’

No advice but that is indeed a tall order due to the gynocentric society that we live in. I have seen many men’s lives ruin on the basis of a woman’s lies and who change their testimony according to their whims. No perjury charges, no consequence. But for the men, their lives and relationships ruined. Imagine wielding that much power. I wish you good luck and will be rooting for you.

Do they actually do it knowingly? Like, “I’m now 30, and if I can bag a guy now, doesn’t matter if I change my mind about the guy I wanna be with, at least I will be taken care of either way, by staying with him or through alimony”.

Sucks to read all this posts because they are all true. There’s just no way that things can be fixed. It will really take a SHTF or Mad Max style event for things to reset.

Yes, they are literally shaping our youths. It’s actually good to be a feminist even if you’re male if you’re in academia. Not so much of you’re an MRA.

I think it’s better to pay her off and let her be on your way. Like you said, you think she has lost her mind so best not to let the kids be with her. If you can, try to speed up this process as quick as possible before she changes her mind and plays hardball.

Plan something for yourselves based on what you’d be doing if you’re alone… gambling, buffets, shows, hookers or outdoors stuff. Make sure that if she bails at the last minute, it won’t ruin your trip there.

What do you do btw? I couldn’t focus on work at all, ended up taking a sabbatical and filled it with just outdoor activity and sports to get my mind right.

This right here. Men have developed societies and infrastructure so well that in most places, we have essential rid ourselves of being needed by women. Until a crisis that is.

Don’t drag this out any longer. I don’t get it, she is your wife but in name only. And it’s not like she’s a pleasant person to deal with. It’s not even about revenge or some petty bs. You need to disconnect because her problem is not your problem.

You can post to so many female-based subreddits but yet you CHOSE to post here, in a men’s forums no less. Why? Can’t get enough male attention?

Thank god for the Internet. You don’t really have to rely from those in your vicinity about their experiences. We have that data and experience from men all over the world

It’s surprising to you because like u said, she’s been processing this for months, went through the whole divorce and split with you in her head. You on the other hand got hit with the shock-and-awe. Like the other posts above, you need to go out and live your life. Anything you do that involves trying to get her back will be a detriment to your healing progress.

No matter how society tells me that it’s ok for woman to have male friends when they’re in a relationship, I will never allow that anymore. Fuck off with that insecurity bs. The moment she mentions another guy, I’m usually one foot out the door.

That’s like 3 dates or if you’ve slept with her already, whichever comes first 😂

The fucked up part is that it’s been going on longer than you think. imagine all the while you thought everything was fine in the marriage while she’s out there getting to know guys behind your back. It’s awful.

Societal programming since birth. Imagine being taught that narrative your whole life from the schools you attend, the people you meet and the media you consume. Good luck trying to pull them out of the matrix.

It truly surprises me when the person whom you trust the most and who loves you, just transformed into someone you barely knew and who has such deep hatred towards you that you start to wonder if you’re the devil incarnate.

If you ever feel like you wanna delete yourself, do what that one redditor did: liquidate and withdraw everything, go to mexico, do copious amount of blow and fuck hookers. (he changed his mind and didn’t go through with it)

The are incentivized to file for divorce and would resort to fake DV claims just to get the man out of the house. Which is more common? A guy getting rich off divorce or a women? How many times have you heard about a man getting alimony?

Yea, there’s some truth in all these platitudes in the manosphere after all: “women always reserve the right to change their mind/behavior at any time.”

Yup, I really hate the usual narrative of making women the automatic victim. It takes two hands to clap. She made the choice and she should live with it. Reminds me of Tinder Swindler, like those women made those bad choices without thinking and the show made them look like they were these innocent victims who were forced at gunpoint to go on that guy’s private jet. Like, take some accountability ffs.

Never in a million years. Having a dick makes you a terrible person by default and you should apologize before the start of any sentence.

You should name your boat after your mom if you want it to be neutral. If you want to have some fun, I might tell her about a female coworker at work weeks prior to this, for e.g Cassandra. Drop her name a couple of times casually when talking about your day at work. And then name your boat Cassandra.

Embrace Islam and practice polygamy. They understand men’s true nature. No one will give you grief about it.

Most good advice can sound sorta generic or cliche but only because that’s usually what worked for most people in hindsight. Just that it’s hard to see it when you’re struggling at the moment and most advice usually comes down to ‘focus on yourself, give it time’.

This reads like a Jack Reacher larp, but in any case, it does gave me some ideas on how to change up my life. Just wondering, when the next main Event happens, are you going through with the divorce and post on r/divorced_men ?

I hope I don't come off as victim blaming but take this time to self-introspect and find out why you're allowing these untrustworthy people in your life. While I am not surprised that a woman is capable of doing this, your male best friend should have been better. I am close with my best friend's wife and I'd rather die than fuck his wife only because of how much our friendship is worth. Try to vet the people you let into yourself properly next time. Do not give your trust freely and always obse…

Damn. This is why they can’t be trusted to make big decisions. I’m just wondering if she did all that lawyering up because her friends and family advised her to do that.

Would never marry again because I thought I got off easy compared to the ex in OPs story. What would drive a woman to act in this manner? It’s kinda like legalized robbery.
