They want someone to sympathize with their feelings so that their feelings are either assuaged or validated. It's a primitive peer consensus wherein you feel justified if your friends feel the same as you. They are insecure and want to be agreed with and supported by someone. Giving them a solution to the problem is too detached from their personhood because it shows that the thought of the problem solver is turned to the problem, not the girl herself, which was the whole point. Attention and va…

You're right, I didn't even think of this until you mentioned it.

He also calls her an AWALT to her face. Beautiful. Although I'm sure those were all scripted questions, still funny.

The best return on investment ever I've ever made was buying a decent razor. I can't tell you how many times it has payed for itself over and over again. I am in the military and I always get very low cuts anyways, so there's absolutely 0 reason for me to go the barbers. Drive there, wait in line, AND pay money vs. plug into an outlet outside my home and cut it super quick myself? No brainer.

Indeed. The strength of MGTOW lies in its simplicity.

Very true, although that objection is much more relevant to the tradcon objections than to feminist objections.

I'm curious to know how this works in practice. Can they still get a mortgage and healthcare? I assume no social security not that it would matter....

Seconding this. I'll bet they get ripped off everywhere. /u/mbmgtow please have a handy politically correct excuse ready in case you get stopped by campus police! Something like "I'm just trying to raise awareness for violence against children" or whatever BS you want.

As you are probably aware, many MGTOW are not big fans of facebook. I think you have a legitimate reason to continue its use (only means of keeping in touch with certain good friends). I would just ignore everything else. If anything, keeping your facebook will be an excellent opportunity for you to exercise self restraint: you will see retarded opinions all around. Here is your opportunity to learn to ignore. This will be especially hard for you since you have a lot of experience and study in t…

I was genuinely surprised at the mugshot. She looked EASILY in her late 30s or even 40s. Btw great on the guy for reporting the assault. And for the police actually doing their jobs and seeing through with justice.

I like how the article added how it was also a way for him to get exercise and avoid smoking on his days off. Seems pretty damn good from all angles.

Whenever a female says this as an excuse I can always immediately tell that they are guilty of what they are accused of. Shows their shitty and delusional personality shining right through.

What are you looking for? Jobs with few women, or jobs that allow the financial independence that many MGTOW strive for? The two sometimes clash but generally highly skilled manual trade jobs both have few women and pay well.

Yup. Gotta count for all the ones that 'didn't count' because: A. She regretted them. Ended up loathing the dude that pumped and dumped her or made poor alcohol-induced decisions. B. The sexual encounters were subpar: he came too quick/she didn't cum C. If they were just random hookups with no sort of emotional connection or dating D. Just to avoid being seen as a whore E. Where are the 'archaic beliefs' and misogyny anywhere here? What is this 'belief system' she is referencing? OP gave a simple non-emotionally charged observation about life and this female read a whole lot into it that isn't there. And then closed the issue off from any further rational discourse. Can't say I'm disappointed, because this is the sort of shit to be expected from many females.
/r/MGTOW06/06/17 05:28 PM

You're right, OP needs to think of some clever and indirect way to convey this sentiment.

If he was that traditional, he wouldn't be marrying a single 34 y/o mother in the first place. That would be like an atheist going to church every few Sundays now and then just to feel good about themselves. Anyways, who cares what these people are doing. Just another 2 rando's among earth's billions.

If you had any fantasies or dreams during your life, that would be something you could make a passion. It does not matter if it is an impractical or pipe dream wish. The great thing too is once you stop chasing after girls, you actually have the time, money, and energy to make your goals far more likely to be achieved.

Yup, that line of reasoning is both an ad hominem and a non sequitor. I'm sure if you said that and referenced basic rules of logic to the people who claim this, they wouldn't understand and they would label the use of elementary reasoning as 'mansplaining'. Also, incels don't know how good they have it.

Very true. Females always want to know personal and juicy details. Plus dudes feel like 'they owe the truth' to their s/o's because they don't want to seem untrustworthy. As soon as you put significant info in the ears of a married dude, you put him in a difficult situation. He may encounter a scenario where his s/o thinks he is hiding something from her and is being perceived as untrustworthy, or worse she just wants dirt on you. So obviously he is going to side with her because he weighs havin…

It will be hard to be happy with yourself until you can do away with your line of thinking 'my entire line is essentially going to waste'. Why should you value your lineage and genetics? It's something you were born with and can't claim as your own accomplishment or product of your own labor, so how much value does it really have? There's nothing going to waste here. What WOULD be a waste is your energy and intellect being diverted into the most base biological functions.

Another post that goes in the mountain of evidence that men are more emotionally caring than women. I feel for you brother. I try to take this energy and use it to deepen my relationships with family and best friends. Just a suggestion for you.

There are a few things to be said here. One, I would recommend doing away with friends who do not care your problems or do not have the time to listen to you (barring emergencies). Of course, you can't just find good wholesome friends off the street either. And that is an unfortunate problem that you would be justified in ranting about. Two, I noticed many of your conversations involved the use of phones/texting. In all honesty this is a kind of silly way to expect serious conversations to bear …

I'd agree with pretty much everything else people have already wrote here, but I have an additional perspective to offer you: The concept of not shitting where you eat applies just as much to college as to any other job. College should be given the same amount of respect any other job should. When I was in school, I was there for my degree. I was not there to fuck around and party. I had a goal. I also worked while in college to help pay for it. If you take your time in school seriously, you sho…

OK it's funny, in fact to me it's very funny. It's also a low blow though. Since it's not actually hurting them I guess it's not that big of a deal. But if they pay for those utilities then that would kind of be fucked up.

I became so engrossed in my hobbies that good and evil became irrelevant to me. Nowadays, I feel and think about society the same way you think about the napkin you just threw away-in other words, it doesn't even cross my mind, so there is nothing to be angry about. Another thing I did was to create a private world so great that it could rival the shared public world. Having no friends for many years helped this.. My mind is my home and universe.

It's simple. For every lady seen shopping, there is a man sweating. Maybe that man is supporting her, maybe not. Men work, women shit spawn out of their vaginas.

Very good point, but I'm not only looking to make MGTOW friends. I've had plenty of BP friends all my life. I've had my fair share of them, and I also want MGTOW friends.

You don't have to be friends with a person and simultaneously be in a situation where you have to rely on them.

I find your suggestion interesting and plausible. It's hard though to teach the exact opposite of what society has taught someone their entire lives. I feel like a lot of these people are only going to learn by negative experiences that are bound to come.

This is the most constructive answer I can think of. It's unfortunate that we are so few and far inbetween that a simple post like this here would not work, but such is life until we significantly gain in numbers.

The reverse question is, if women are so more informed or educated than men, why don't they have anything to show for it but shit careers and debt? Also lol at the implication that watching more films and TV shows is somehow an accomplishment or even a positive characteristic at all.

Just practicing delayed gratification and self-denial will go a long way. It doesn't have to be all at once either. But to make it a purely willing and entire transition, I recommend finding a difficult goal that is all consuming to you. If you can do this, other things start becoming more trivial and moving into the periphery of your life. For obvious reasons though there can be problems with cultivating a mania, so you'd probably want to set designated times of day to continue the upkeep of yo…

I doubt a few men out of tens of millions requesting a male representative is going to alter the hiring policy of any company. But if it did, men would be in more demand, and hence they would have more freedom and options to choose from.

The observations you point out do not disagree with what I said. I claimed it was a "weakness", something that is normative and proscriptive (in the sense philosophers use these terms). You're right, the absence of companionship is hard on human nature, and what I've said agrees with this. That doesn't mean I have to like this, or that I cannot discipline myself away from this desire.
/r/MGTOW09/02/17 12:12 AM

Likewise. It does make some good points about nature though, and that is why I assume it was upvoted so high.

Yep, I get it. Perhaps MayoNoCheese thought there was some reliable source out there other than CDC or feminist sources, and this was the sort of link he was hoping for. Does such a link exist? Probably not. Was MayoNoCheese thinking this? Also probably not.

Agreed up to the self-defeating statement. The fact that Japan's population is decreasing is simply showing that MGTOW philosophy is working there. Is it self-defeating to have a decreasing population? Only from the perspective of someone who intrinsically values quantity of human life.

Pretty sure they have been rent seekers throughout most of history. I know of very few significant inventions or theories put forth by a female. They offer reproduction and occasionally the nurturing of young, that's mainly it.

Whenever I start to get interested in a girl I always remind myself of this, because without fail their mother is not attractive at all
/r/MGTOW22/12/16 05:16 PM

It seems like several others here have said the same thing, and it does make sense to me. But I do have reluctance in expending time and resources just to show the futility of a thing, you know? Anyways, I'll keep that in mind for sure, thank you.
/r/MGTOW22/12/16 12:11 PM
1

Good suggestion. I do actually try something similar. Whenever I am interested in a particular female, I try to know what her mother looks like (because mothers are always old, fat, and unattractive) and then remind myself that the daughter will probably end up looking the same. Definitely interested in looking more into this meditative technique, thank you.
