I looked through a lot of the new and top posts on this sub before I posted, and I didn't see it anywhere. Sorry for reposting accidentally. It makes sense that it would've already been posted, I just couldn't find any evidence of it, and thought that it merited a chance. Again, sorry for the trouble. Having found this sub only recently, I don't know how kindly you'll take to a comment from a woman - but men's rights are something I care quite a bit about as the mother of a kid/man who's getting ready to leave the nest for college. I raised him by myself, in the context of my own large and loving extended family. I've carried on relationship-type-things like what you're looking for. I'm a woman with my own home, life, family, job, pets, etc. A whole relationship is like opening a whole new chapter in your life - right alongside everything else you've got going on. It's not simple, and not everyone who comes along is worth such effort - not because people aren't worth it, but because relationships don't always work out, and you can't constantly be pouring your energy away from everything else in your life…

I know women who think like this, and might actually do it. I also know a man who sabotaged condoms to get his gf pregnant. I've never understood why anyone would want to be with someone they had to trap.
