Wouldn't you wanna know what was up with a girl who acted like this? Nope, would have moved on a long time ago, if I was a guy. I'm a woman, not that it makes that much difference. I have a life. I don't need to worry about superficial gestures. If I was single, I'd be interested in guys who are into me enough to make an effort, confident enough to make it very clear that they're into me, and have enough integrity to only do so when they're single. Your "Nick" is apparently none of those things.…

I sound clueless And a little bit obsessed. Has he asked you for your number? Asked you to go out anywhere together specific? (Saying "meet up sometime" is vague enough that you can get away with never doing it.) It sounds like if he does like you, he doesn't actually like you enough to do anything about it.

Interestingly the tag I have on you made me go look at your history and you're basically writing the same post you were writing four months ago about this same guy with a very similar update. Did he make any effort whatsoever to get in touch with you in the interim four months? A guy who likes a girl generally put at least a modicum of time into making contact with - whether that be asking for her phone number, finding her and friending her and contacting her on Facebook, something. Being nice t…

Are they just crooked, or are they really bad? For a lot of people, teeth that are decayed, missing or otherwise obviously not-well-taken-care-of are a dealbreaker. In addition, I personally always was very suspicious of men who smile or laugh with their mouths closed or talk in such a way that I can't see their teeth. I take really, really good care of my mouth and I have always expected the same of my partners. Crooked is one thing, but downright bad is entirely another.

I wish I could kill people that annoy me. That's it, enough wishing, I'm going to start doing. Cliftonixs said I could.

Life happens. Unfortunately child care is one of those things that frequently gets shoved onto family members. At this point I'd lob her the ball and leave it in her court. Say something like, "Was sorry you had to pass on our lunch, if you'd like to arrange another time let me know a good day and time for you." Then leave it alone. If she wants to get together she'll make time for you. If she doesn't, then you'll have your answer.

As long as you're doing the fixing yourself, then good on you. What you shouldn't do is expect someone to come along and do the fixing for you. Also, what came to mind for me was the sentiment I so often hear (mostly from women, but there are guys who do it too) "But he (she) would be so perfect if only he (she) changed just this one thing about him (her)" - which then frequently evolved into just two things or just three things. Nobody is perfect. But each of us needs to find the brand of imper…

We never hit it off romantically... She knows I only like her as a friend Sounds like she likes you WAY more than you like her. It's probably really hard for her to imagine you with anyone that isn't her. Unfortunately this means that you are going to have to keep her out of your romantic business. No matter how much you want her to just be your good friend, she can't really be that for you as long as she's wishing there was something more between you. (If you're sure that she's not interested i…

Depends on the guy. I dated a guy for a short while that you'd probably call an alpha. He made decisions and others were expected to go along. Definitely a leader. He always determined where we were going and what we were doing. That was interesting at the beginning but got old quickly. I never paid for anything when we went out because it always felt like I was just along for the ride. I also dated a guy who was severely underemployed and I paid for most every date we went on. When he did the a…

The only way I won't at least offer to pay my own way on a hypothetical first date is if I've been told where we're going. If a guy asks me out and says, "Let's go to Chez Bigbux, eight o'clock" or "We're going to go see the Professional Sports Team on Saturday" then I assume he's paying. It would be awfully presumptuous of someone to say, "We're going to venue of my choosing, and by the way, you get to pay an amount of money that I decide is appropriate." If a guy wants me to fork over an amoun…

I fucking hate it when people text or message me with a statement and expect to always get a reply back. I reply to questions, requests for information and other things that require a response. You told her something. From what you describe you didn't ask anything. The conversation ended quite naturally. FFS if she shows up at the bar don't even breathe a word of the fact that she didn't text you back.

Then ask your question again when your priorities change and you're willing to save up in order to move to somewhere that your prospects are better, or forget your question altogether when your priorities have changed and you're finding yourself willing to date the stupid pregnant addicts. When you want it enough, you'll find a way to make it work.

Too high standards for what? Like you only are attracted to women who are beyond beautiful, so much so that there are only like 20 of them out there in the whole world and they are all currently dating famous guys or gazillionaires, or like you get the brush-off from the real-life women you are attracted to?

For starters, the more "feelings" you allow yourself to have on a first date, the more hurt you risk getting if things don't work out - which, on a dating site, is far more often than not. If you are going to continue to do online dating, you are going to need to develop a thicker skin, and approach with more caution. Think of your first dates as auditions - you need to determine if you actually think these guys are worthy of your attentions and affection before you actually give either of them …
