Google it. It's out there. Yeah. But my female divorce attorney said the reason for it is repeat business for lawyers...lifetime alimony that is. YOU both get to fight each other for adjustments over the next 20 30 40 years. No law gets enacted unless it's gravy for a special interest group. Even drunk driving has been a boon to lawyers. I read a statistic that 93% of women eligible for alimony take it. Take his and her salary and ad them. Divide by 2 and that's how much he gets to keep. The rest he pays her. Only 9% of men eligible alimony take it. It's an ego thing. In some states it's alimony for life like florida. Google all the angst down there about alimony repeal. People are getting fed up with it. See how easy it is for a man to disrupt his career for a few years in order to tend to family issues and then try to get back into the workforce at age 50. Not going to happen. This man is going onto food stamps, government healthcare, and welfare. Screw it. I tried. No all you tax payers get to support me because your government lawyers made laws that make big companies afraid to hire old people for fear of law suits.
