Anyone knowledgeable on programming that could offer advice?I think a thorough post would be awesome. I'm a sharp guy, but never thought of myself as particularly creative. I had an idea one day about creating my own company and software the other day, and automating some of the processes. Talked with some experts in my field and they like the idea. For me, I've never had any exposure to this sort of thing and have no idea where to start. With your advice, I feel like I at least know where to start reading, and where to start learning. There's a guy that… | /r/askTRP | 02/02/16 03:44 AM
Anyone knowledgeable on programming that could offer advice? Thanks again for the reply. I understand. We have good relationships with potential clients established already, and actually work with many of them now(we're under the umbrella of our current company at the moment). Technologically there's nothing groundbreaking with what we're doi g...we're just creating a better business model on a small scale than what a large corporation currently provides. | 1 | Anyone knowledgeable on programming that could offer advice? Thanks for the reply. Your the second person to mention Python, so I'm going to start there. I'm still at a point where I don't even know how much I don't know, but I'm going to start learning what I can so at the very least I can communicate what I need. | /r/askTRP | 02/02/16 12:43 AM
Anyone knowledgeable on programming that could offer advice? Thanks for the reply, I appreciate the thorough was. I haven't thought about using a pi or arduino. We will be working in hazardous and remote environments however, and will be charging a lot of money so I think I should stick with a regular pc for the extra oomph, but I'll check those out too. Thanks for the resources and reccomendations...there's so much information available your recs helps me narrow where to start and what to use. | /r/askTRP | 02/02/16 12:36 AM

Anyone knowledgeable on programming that could offer advice? Thanks for the reply. I'm going to learn what I can, and do asuch as I can, but it sounds like I should work with a consultant to get things going as smooth as possible. | /r/askTRP | 02/02/16 12:30 AM

Anyone knowledgeable on programming that could offer advice?"If not, you're probably deluded about what's involved in making this work..." Can you elaborate on this? There's a group of us who have established an excellent reputation within our industry. Because of this, and our ability to undercut our competition on prices due to significantly lower overhead, we should able to pick up 1, possibly up to 3 clients within a few months of our launch. | /r/askTRP | 01/02/16 06:37 AM
